  Working with Mari Lou at RiverWood Bank was nothing short of amazing. We cannot thank her enough for all of her hard work and dedication to us with our mortgage loan. She went to bat for us time and time again going above and beyond to advocate on our behalf, even when it was outside of the normal realm of her duties, as we ran into several unforeseen issues due to the fact that we didn't use a realtor. And every time, without skipping a beat, Mari Lou was there to help us through to the very end. From brainstorming with us, to calling the state, calling the county, helping us with septic tank referrals, to even texting us while she was on vacation to see how everything was going.   Love Mary Lou! She was very informative, quick to react to any of my requests, explained everything through out the process and assured me of any issues that may arise. This was my first mortgage and I was extremely frustrated and upset about the way my previous bank handled my loan. So I decided to refinance with Mary Lou and it was the best decision I have made!

  We appreciate and praise Riverwood Bank so much. We have had a number of home loans with them and each time it only gets better dealing with the hard working people at the bank. Mary Lou McCormic has always taken such good care of us and we trust her so much. She keeps us up-to-date with what is going on and where the process is at. We never have to wonder where things are or why it is taking time to get to the end process of the loan because Mary Lou is reaching out to us with every step and explaining what is happening. Even when the loan is complete and we have the money we can call with questions and Mary Lou and everyone at bank is there to answer questions and help. We have called Mary Lou a number of times to ask questions when we don’t have s loan and she is always there with an answer or will gladly get us one. Riverwood Bank and it’s truly great employees are why we are always going to be Riverwood customers!

  Have worked with Mari Lou for 3 closings and 2 refi’s in the last 8 years. After the first experience I always go back and am 100% satisfied with the service. Very knowledgeable, experienced, professional, friendly and caring. I’ve moved to the cities but make the drive to Monticello (if needed, since their on-line service is great) to do my banking.

  Went in to open an account, the banker was rude and stated that he had to “hurry up” because he had someone important coming in he was going to be opening 4 business account for. I had to ask about what fees, interest rates, balance requirements and so on. He gave no helpful information. Then handed me a brochure and told me to read it. We took our application and walked out. We will not be back and would not recommend Riverwood to anyone looking to open an account.
