      I paid off a negative balance and it still took out the over draft fee and DAILY fee. My card has been over drafted 4 times this month with notice and I'm quite sick of it. Nothing but a scam

      The idea of banking with people from within my community appealed to me. I thought that doing business banking with a locally-owned and operated bank would prove to be beneficial for me and my small business; that it would be easier and more pleasant. I have been proven wrong by the people at Republic Bank, time and time again, for more than 6 years, for the last time. The people are genuinely unfriendly and difficult to work with should you find yourself in a situation requiring assistance of any kind... That is, once your money is in their possession. That customer experience that seemed too good to be true at the local branch will undoubtedly go down hill in a matter of time. For the record, I currently have multiple business and personal accounts at Republic Bank that go back more than 10 years. I will finally be moving ALL of those accounts.

      I've called every number listed to try to reach customer service in Louisville KY regards to my 1st & 2nd stimulus and no one is answering the phones. Extremely poor customer service. I hope this bank closes for good

      Understanding that my stimulus was returned to the IRS, because the bank account temporary due to taxes? But why can't this company work tirelessly with the IRS like TURBOTAX and other Tax Companies? THEY HAVE REOPENED TEMPORARY ACCOUNTS AND RESENT THE PAYMENTS BACK TO THEM ACCOUNTS SO I BELIEVE THERE IS A WAY! they heard the cares and the real concerns of their customers and they understand that we are in a REAL UNPRECEDENTED AND UNPREDICTABLE TIME AND SOME OF US EVEN IF ITS A SMALL PERCENTAGE THAT CANNOT MAKE IT TO FILE TAXES AT THE END OF JANUARY AND WAIT UNTIL FEBRUARY!THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE PERIOD POINT BLANK ! We know how important this second round of stimulus payments is to you and to so many across the country, and we have been in daily contact with the IRS to find the best solution to get customers’ funds into their hands as soon as possible. As you may know, an IRS error mistakenly routed some payments to already closed 2019 tax refund accounts. We worked to quickly provide customer information to the IRS for those payments and return the funds to the IRS by the end of December to aid it in redistributing the affected payments as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, the IRS has been delayed in its ability to redistribute funds to customers, but we are meeting with them daily to help them resolve the issue.       Don't open until 9 and close at 4. How convenient! But hey they stay open "late" until 5 on Friday AND they are open for an entire 3 HOURS on Saturday. The hours are awesome, sure, but what I really love is all the fees! Mobile deposit fee? Check! Minimum balance fee? Check! Free checks? Nope! Free anything? Well, they do have lolli pops if you can mange to get in there when they are actually open and get one. If "It's just easier here!" I'd sure as hell hate to see what the competition is like.

      I want to give the overall bank a 5 star. I ended up making a boo-boo and overdrafted, and I saw that the OD fee was... 6 DOLLARS, per day! Mind you, I used to bank with Chase, where these fee's we $34 per charge, per day - which would actually put me behind even more. Republic Bank is a five star bank where it matters the most, from the fees, the convenience, how long it takes to process money. I'm about to switch ALL of my money to this institution. Banking anywhere else doesn't make any sense, when this is as good as it gets. I speak as someone who's banked with crappy banks like Chase, PNC, 5/3.

      Are we being punked? Calling the banks 800#? PnhhHahahahahaaaaa! Like trying to see the wizard! The absolute worst customer service experience with a bank... Maybe even a seedy cell phone company. Perpetual Robotic Matrix. Their live chat team will abruptly end your chat after referring you to phone in to Robot-land again! A disgrace.

      Their employees are poorly trained and do not know the policies of the bank. Then when you try to complete the transaction you can't and are simply told "oops" Nothing just mess with your monthly payments. DO NOT USE THEM

      Just opened an account and now wondering if I made a big mistake. Waited 5 minutes in drive through and was the only one there. No one ever acknowledged me so I rang the call button and waited another 3 minutes without anyone acknowledging me so I hit button again and finally a person came to window and said I had to wait they were having a situation inside! No sorry for your wait or anything. Very disappointed in their customer service.

      Horrible customer service. Been trying to get something accomplished for two weeks now all I get is sent to a tax hotline that has nothing to do with what I'm trying to handle. I think it's very lazy and rude what there doing horrible. Don't go with them!
