Barbara Whittaker1I don't have an account but was there to cash a check. I watched the manager lady yell at the staff about something. I don't know what they did but no one deserves to be talked to like that. She should have waited until after the bank closed instead of when there are clients in the bank. When she walked past me to go to her desk she didn't even say hello and reeked of smoke. Nate cashed my check. He was very nice.

Marcello C. De Feo1From start to finish, my experience with Republic was nothing shy of disappointing. They are quick to provide you with checks and branded pens but the benefits stop there. In the beginning, you are provided with a a lead person's contact info and encouraged to contact that person should you have any questions, yet you receive no responses to calls or emails. When you are in the bank, sensitive matters are discussed without any discretion whatsoever. God forbid you have any financial shortcomings, if someone is in earshot, they will hear all about them. I have left the location feeling ashamed and embarrassed on multiple occasions. This is a feeling I would not wish on anyone. The main benefit of being a member of Republic was their convenient hours, which have since changed and are now roughly the same as the average bank. Other banks give you more bang for the buck. Their technology is lacking. The mobile app and website are incredibly rudimentary. The data in the mobile app is inconsistent. It may load and tell you you have one amount. The next time you load it, it may revert to a previous amount that was cached in the system. The interface is not intuitive. There are no reporting features. They claim to offer all the benefits of a big bank with a hometown feel but I have never experienced any of this. I joined Republic hoping for a fresh start and left feeling gut punched and full of regret.

B E1Worst possible experience. Went in at 6:45 PM to open two business checking accounts. After waiting 15 minutes, the teller walked around the counter and told me it would be a while. "Max has a few accounts to open." She invited me to come back another day. Clearly they were worried about getting their closing procedures, rather than opening new business accounts. I guess the good news is that I learned early what kind of business partner they would be. Better off knowing now, so I can build a relationship elsewhere.

What more could u ask for if u need to open a account ask for rich hes the man honestly. I believe every bank around here should have people like rich.Thanks again oh and they give doggy bones for your pet lol 5 star bank go check it out for yourself u will not be dissapointed.............

Lauren Reed2I went in today to open an account with a large check and was told that I had an old account with a -$2.00 balance. I offered to take care of the amount due, which I had no idea I even owed them. The -$2.00 was sent due to fees that they imposed but I offered to pay it in order to proceed with opening the new account. The representative I was working with called someone in their securities department who told the rep that I should pay the $2 but they would not open a new account for me. I guess the 2 dollars was more important to them than my large check, my business, and having me refer friends and colleagues to them. Their loss. I took my money elsewhere.
