  If you have to deposit a check greater than $1k, they are quick to place a hold on the funds. I am going to switch banks when my kids graduate college.

  It's just not right to charge people to cash a check that is written on their bank! Guess any way they can make a few bucks, as if they really need it...then they usually have the nerve to ask you if you would like to open an account with them...well not if you're going to treat the people that I write a check to the same way!
