      I was a victim of Bank Fraud, I must admit that it was also partly my fault, although I promptly contacted PSECU, the local authorities, and the USPS. I am disabled, and instead of assisting me, PSECU froze all my accounts. They even threatened to keep all my disability checks. Had I not acted quickly, that's just what they would have done. I am a Professional who worked for 43 years before a sudden disability. PSECU treated ME as if I was the criminal instead of the Victim. Watch your back with PSECU!!!

      It all depends if you fall into their exact perimeters. They reviewed and spoke to me about my loan, approved it, sent the draft check and waited till after I picked up the vehicle to say that it does not qualify for an auto loan and that I would need a personal loan at the higher interest rate, to make the extra buck. They stopped the check and left me paying the stop payment and return check fees from the dealer due to PSECU's error and no means of rectifying it. Very disappointed with their lack of subject matter experts and the way they left me holding all the responsibility to clear things up at my expense. They can sugar coat the response, but they can't sugar coat their actions. I been a member for over 12+ years and not once have they approved a loan for me, whether it be a home or auto with great credit and credit score. Don't waste your time, try and another credit union like Members 1st where they really care for their customers and make it right even if there wrong!

      I have been a member for about 3 years now. My husband and I are now on our second vehicle loan. We have gotten the best rates and the best customer service. Everything is always so easy and quick. Applying for the car loan literally takes 5 minutes over the phone. We tried other banks and it was a huge process where we needed to fax and mail in all types of proof of income, etc.. We will be sticking with PSECU for a very long time!

      Their customer service has been good when I need to interact with them. Most of my banking experience with PSECU has been online with them and has worked really well, from applying for and paying loans, to checking and card services. But they are about to cripple their online experience to an over simplified, slow, clunky, dumbed down interface. In the pictures below I show a comparison between the old site, with the orange highlight theme, and the upcoming new interface that will be replacing it on October 19th. All menu options are behind a 5 second wait of an animation to slide out and show you the options. Once the ... options menu is open, the list of items are in nested menus which also have slow animations to them, furthermore when opening one of the nested menus it will snap closed the previous menu to open the new one. With the new interface it makes it a painful experience, it looks like someone took a poorly designed mobile site and blew it up. Each page has very minimal information on it requiring you to use the slow navigational features to try and get what you need. The new site also has a new loading animation that will popup filling the window until the next page is loaded, instead of a smooth transition it's abrupt and un-called for. Whatever team thought of making this design decision didn't think about the consequences or considerations of how it is used, but rather how it looks, to be "clean" and "minimalist" ...This is online banking, not a fashion statement, and good looks can be made possible without destroying the user experience.

      This place is a joke. We have banked with psecu since out of high school and had all of our loans with them. I would recommend everyone to pull there money from psecu. They claimed we didnt pay our mortgage which get automatically taken out of my husband's account and then took an additional $400 and put it towards the mortgage principal and will not give it back for other Bill's that are due. This is one of the worse banks I could've ever banked with especially when it is there mistake not ours. We will be pulling both of our accounts and getting loans with a different bank!!

      Incredibly frustrating and inconsistent lending practices. They were happy to lend unsecured money at a higher interest rate, but would not help with a new car loan. Credit score is higher, DTI is lower. Credit Unions are supposed to be about relationships and providing a different level of service than big banks. PSECU is no longer that type of institution.

      They have no intention of letting me pay for closing costs without a fight. Very odd behavior. Absolutely horrible customer service. Do NOT bank with them. I am changing banks once this is done.

      Good place, but the union itself is strict on loans and procedures. I haven't had an issue getting a loan, but everything is fairly black and white. Everything that can be done at their "eCenter" is fairly limited when compared to what you can do at home (it's the same, except you can't print upload any files). Meeting with an actual loan representative can be a difficult task to accomplish.

      Worst Customer Service EVER! Multiple occasions. From very important business wire transfers which took top management days to execute correctly, to simple day to day interactions. Very Inept. Too much waste. Looking for a new Credit Union. If you care to save a customer it can still be done. Reach out.
