David Fredrick5My family has turned to Provident Credit Union many times for our loan needs. Colleen Knowles is such a great employee to work with. I’ve had the pleasure of securing multiple loans with her but this last one was exceptional. I cannot thank Colleen enough for her attention to detail, going the extra steps and putting her customers first. Our family is forever grateful.

Janelle Dorosh1Called to notify the bank of my father's passing and was transferred to the back office who then just transferred me to the fraud department without even advising me that I was being transferred!

Akuetteh Sowah1This Bank was taking money from my account since God knows when. Anytime I rented a car they were not crediting my account the amount held by the rental company till 2019 when I found out and they told me the money dropped. Dropped to where? They told me when the money is released by the rental company it’s not credited to my account the bank keeps it without explanation.

Paul Zari1My wife deposited over 5000.00 dollars on Monday 8/24/20 at the Folsom branch of Provident Credit Union. She had her EDD card and was transferring the money to our Provident Checking. The employee that did the transfer did not have enough paper to do the transaction (should always check the paper) and tried to reverse the transaction and when they went to take the money off it was gone. Provident C.U. took the money off the EDD card and it is now Friday the 8/28 and we still do not have our money. If I could give them no stars I would. They stole our money and are taking their time getting it back to us. To say the least that we have waited for months to get the EDD money in the first place, but to have our bank screw up and not give us our money back when it is a major amount of money. Don't bank here or bank at your own risk.
Response from the ownerPaul, I am very sorry to hear about this issue. Please contact me at [email protected] and I will help resolve your issue. Regards, John Haggarty Provident Credit Union

roger moore1I have been a member for 20+ yrs. In March 2020 I added another acct besides the savings & checking acct.. They asked for too many personal info e.g. am I still working, name of last employer, how many yrs, job title, if I own or rent, etc. They must be selling my info to marketing companies. They said government is requesting it after 9/11. That is not true. I opened an acct. with a major bank in 2015 & was never asked any of above Q's. How low they stoop to make money off their customer's personal info is a disgrace. I will be taking my banking elsewhere. I suggest you do the same.
