PNC Bank Reviews

David Shirley1Ever since PNC bought out BBVA it’s been horrible!!! Only two branches open on Saturdays!!! They are always extremely slow!!! Also they charge fees to doing normal banking transactions. Check deposits are placed on a minimal 24 hour hold, no matter what, unless you do a fast deposit which charges you a fee and they charge a monthly account fee too!!! They charge you for anything and everything they can to make money off of you!!!

Harley Dree (The Hudson Path)5First time interacting with anyone here. Trena & Patrick both were fantastic with their customer service. Patrick McKenna went above & beyond any other banking transaction anywhere we’ve been to assure understanding and satisfaction.

Piratepress1I came from out of town and was given a check drawn on the local PNC Bank in Mobile. I proceeded to cash the check there and provided my driver's license as proof of identification. Despite having my picture on it, they required a second form of identification which I provided. They came back 5 minutes later and explained that because I wasn't an account holder I would have to pay a 2% fee which is ridiculous when it is drawn on their bank! The check was for $1500 which would have cost me $30 for their service. I agreed and after waiting another 10 minutes was told that there was an error with the check and they couldn't cash it! There was no error whatsoever other than they simply didn't want to help me. When I returned to my home state, my local bank cashed it without a single issue. Based on this lack of customer service, I will NEVER use PNC Bank and I would encourage others to think twice about an institution that charges customer for cashing their own checks! PNC and Century Bank are absolutely the worst two banks in Mobile to deal with!

Denise Harris-Wright2This PNC is the closest one to my job. I informed the teller of what I needed. She had such a dry and ugly tone. Long story short, she did not do my transaction correct and I am considering closing my account with PNC. This location needs some customer service training 101. Everyone has a bad day, but when I come to this location...this is the norm.

Benny Qi5I went to this location from out of town for an appointment. Andrew helped me endorsed a check and was a great experience here. Thanks.

Scott Mcirvin2Two tellers were available on a Friday during peek hours...one teller worked the drive thru while the second teller worked walk-in customers in the lobby. Sad part...two other PNC female employees were in one of the offices adjacent to the lobby exchanging stories on personal matters. Nine customers were in the lobby during this bottleneck service. The drive-thru teller made efforts to assist the lobby teller with lobby customers when no drive-thru customers required assistance. It was short-lived because of the increased influx of drive-thru customers arriving constantly. The two females chatting together in an adjacent office to the lobby should have made efforts to assist the single lobby teller when the number of customers standing in the lobby seemed to "crawl" in regards to being waited on. After twenty minutes, I had to make an appointment across town. Shortly after conducting business at the appointment, I chose to conduct my transaction at another PNC Bank. This branch had several tellers working the lobby which resulted in my completing my transactions in less than five minutes. Location, location, location played an important role on this day. PNC Bank managers should have assets readily available and the authority to adjust and relocate personnel to different branches whenever shortages occur in similar incidences.

Shannon O'Connor5I've used this bank for over a decade and I love it. The people know me by name and always ask about my kids, especially Carolyn, who is my absolute favorite.
