PNC Bank Reviews

Adriana Howard1Today I was at the PNC office accompanying my 19-year-old daughter to open an account, the officer named Gabrielle asked some questions, and my daughter told her that she needed to open it because she receives tips in cash and her previous bank does not have branches here in Jacksonville. The official very quickly told my daughter that she could not open the account because she did not have a job that does direct deposit, it seemed very strange to me because I have had an account with them for 4 years and they never told us that, they opened the account for us without any problem. The official told her that the only account she can open is a savings account to deposit money and withdraw money from the ATM. We then asked her about a student account to which she gave the same answer. Everything was fast, we did not feel any customer service, we just left there and went to another bank where they opened our account without any problem, providing us with friendly and respectful service. The truth is that I think it was a clear case of discrimination because we are of Latin descent, we felt that they did not respect us and that they gave us bad information, so I called PNC and they confirmed what I already knew, I could open the account without any problem. The only thing that was needed was an account where my daughter could make normal transactions, buy in stores, and restaurants, and pay for purchases, goods, and services. I am absolutely sad there was a lack of commitment, and the respective complaint has already been made at the bank. This must end, as a clear sign of racism and incompetence.

Judy Boone1I’m sorry, but Kelsey was very unhelpful with my daughter. She obviously didn’t want to help us in the first place, then made a weak excuse for why she couldn’t help. She did not smile once or show any kind of friendliness.

JESSICA STARK1I have been with this bank for many years now. I have never been treated so horrible. My account got hacked and money got taken and they sent me a letter stating that they did not find anything wrong and I am still being charged the money..... We were not even in the town where the charges took place. We will promptly we be leaving this bank. I would never recommend this bank to anyone.

Alana Zinsner2Not really happy with all the overdraft fees and customer service did little to help. Over all not impressed navy federal is much better than this

Jon Hill2Stacy needs to go back to teller school/training, she shows zero emotion, has zero people skills, and should not be working in customer service. Mallory is decent but slow....the short pregnant blond is the best teller they have. I only gave an extra star because the short blond pregnant teller that covered her name tape was nice to me. Terrible customer support, how can you have 3 to 4 tellers and make each person come to the counter one at a time. Confusion at its finest.

ryan miller1never get a auto loan with them. it's a hassle setting up automatic payments with this bank. I setup automatic payments with them or so i thought but they called me about a month later saying the account number was wrong and it was by one number so they fixed that and said it would be good now for automatic payments, great good to go, yea right. They waited 3 months later to finally called to tell me the automatic payments where not going through and would need a voided check and i was late on my payments and owed over a grand on my car. by the way my car payments aren't but around 250$ a month but they had to wait 3 months to finally call me and tell me how much i owed once my bill finally racked up a large amount of money so they could screw me over and have a bigger chance of repoing my car. a lower interest rate is not worth banking with PNC bank

Joseph Goodwin1Bad customer service. Very rushed and unfriendly tones when calling. Blind transfers. When they had me set up the account the lady made it seem like it would be wonderful but it certainly doesn't feel that way.

gary cox3Although my business has been with PNC and have been very happy with the help there. Getting a personal loan from them may make one consider relocating banks!

R Diva5I'm giving them 5 because the people on the inside were kind and courteous. My daughter closed her account because there were to many stipulations and possible fees associated with having an account open.

Amanda De Jesus3Nice people just not enough of them. Wait time was crazy long because of only one teller for the front and one for the drive thru.
