  Great day trip, food and service was great. Nice throwback to the early 1900's . Buffalo meat served in the restaurant comes from local farmers. Went there with a church group from Blacksburg . Great place for a group to have a reasonably priced meal in a relaxed days gone by atmosphere

  Great spot in the country with awesome roads for motorcycle enthusiasts. Great food in the restaurant and wonderful backyard area to stroll around and stretch your legs after a meal. 👍👍👍👍👍

  Love this place! What a fun interesting store & restaurant, with a little bit of everything. There was a great sale on Christmas things. There's displays of animals all around & a swinging bridge across the middle.

  Lovely place to visit. It's a combination restaurant, retail and convenience store. Set in the middle of a lot of nowhere! Also great fun to feed the huge trout in the pond out back. If you're lucky, the old mill house may be open for you to tour. You should definitely visit at different times of the year. The scenery is beautiful. Lots of retail options upstairs. Oh and there's a big stuffed bear as you enter the restaurant.

  What a quaint place for a meal! Lunch was so good! Homemade potato chips and fresh blueberry cobbler! A fun relaxing place to visit! The gift shop is neat too!

  Always an enjoyable meal stop while motorcycling the fabulous roads in that area. Outstanding staffers and very well maintained grounds, store and restaurant. We also enjoy visiting the adjacent mill & water wheel.

  Absolutely delicious food. The buffalo is is the best. A little pricey but well worth it. There is a bit of a wait time. A gift shop upstairs and a general store in front. Free wifi when ask for the password. There is a bar where you can get alcoholic drinks. Well worth the trip.

  There were 10 of us, we were told there is a 40 minute wait on a table which was fine with us because we could walk around or shop. At the 40 minute time, the hostess took a 6 person table with 8 chairs. Of course we were not going to be able to sit at the table. We asked the hostess about putting two empty tables together for us, we were told they weren’t able to due to it being a fire hazard, we understood this as well. After an hour wait we asked if we could be sat at different tables so we wouldn’t have to wait too much longer. We ended up sitting at two different tables and thought okay now we’re good. Wrong! After ordering our food, it took almost TWO hours to get our food. Although the food looked delicious, it was not. Several of us ended up not eating due to ALL of our food being cold. This was first and last time to eat at paint bank general store.

  Haven't been there for a couple of years. Was kind of disappointed that their selection of candles wasn't as much as before, but could understand due to not being able to receiving products. One of my all time favorite places when in the area!❤
