  Because I collect and sell coins on Ebay and go through rolls I enjoy getting coin rolls. I was told that they only supply coins for their business customers and not hobby. (When I opened the account at the main branch, they indicated it was not a problem and I can get rolls from them.) I was further told that they would rather I took my loose coins to somewhere like Coinstar since their machine was for customers with small numbers of coins. I was lectured about my hobby and told that their coin supplier removes all silver and rare coins from their loose coins which is mostly untrue. They do try to pull out silver but that isn't what I collect and sell. I also made it clear whenever I went in that if they were short on coins, not to worry. I would try again later. I was asked if I ever have found a collectable coin in THEIR coins. It made me feel pretty angry by this time. I will never return even though they are just down the street from my house.

  Won't return my debit card that I accidently left in the ATM because I'm not a member. They claim they cant "properly ID" none members. Not sure how that is possible given that my government issued ID has nothing to do with my membership status at this credit union. Absolutely just a ploy to try and strong arm me into opening an account.

  Marco and crew at Philomath are so nice to work with. We took our son into the Philomath branch to get financing for a car for our son and it was such a positive experience. He even got a good low interest credit card to build his credit. Thank you for making banking a wonderful experience for us all!

  When you sign up at this bank they talk about how they're for the community and they'll work with you to help you it's a load of s*** they're better than selco but they're still a bank can't trust them

  Would not return debit card after I left in machine 3 hours earlier, and it was right before Christmas. Said they had a “rule” that cards would not be returned to non-members. Felt like a dirty trick to get me to open an account. My credit union was surprised they did this to me.

  What is it that customer service at my Philomath Credit Union outlet is so slow? I rarely used the drive up service, per-pandemic, because it was slow but since it is now super inconvenient to get inside for teller service, I feel like I don't have a choice. Why can't you dedicate a teller to each drive through lane, set it up so they could conduct business from the teller station at the window rather than wandering off to who knows where and make it at least appear that customer service matters? Or at least get the ATM working reliably for those of us who don't want to make a morning of getting cash from our accounts. Ed

Since the pandemic, wait times for our lobbies and drive ups have been longer than usual as we work to ensure social distancing and a safe environment for members and staff. Lines tend to be longest on Mondays and Tuesdays following three-day weekends. Our local branch manager will be reaching out to you to discuss your service concerns.

  Been with OSCU for many years. Very friendly and helpful but I wish they embraced more modern banking technologies like mobile deposits and Android/Apple pay.
