  The bank is okay, I have been a customer since my local branch was still a Lowell bank. I don't like the on line banking web site nor phone app. The system is very unforgiving when it comes to misspelling a password. I have to call in and have my locked account reset every couple of weeks. Sorry my fat old fingers make mistakes on my iphone. :) Also I just tried to make a deposit using my iphone by taking a picture of a check to deposit. It tells me I do not have permission to do so with my account. What? I have done it before. Another phone call to customer service. They are probably going to know my voice because I call in so much. I never had as much problem with mobile banking with Bank of America, their app and web site not full of so many glitches.

  Customer support is terrible, low debit card daily limit makes the checking account basically unusable. Went on vacation and warned the bank days in advance, card was still denied, called again and was told they never changed the card regions and it would be fixed, still is not fixed. 5 days into a vacation and still cannot use my card. Go anywhere else

  I opened an account with Northern Bank on 6-15. 13 days later they decided they needed my drivers license. I sent them a copy and my account has been frozen ever since. I have no problems with any of my other brokerage or bank accounts. My account has been frozen for over two weeks and no one at Northern can tell me why it's frozen or when it will be unfrozen.

  Best bank by far very , personable always looking out for you as a costumer . Never once has this bank let me down for the past 25plus years.

  We made use of the MassSave Heat Loan program, with a loan through Northern Bank & Trust. NB&T was helpful and knowledgeable in originating this loan, and the MassSave Heat Loan program was of great value to us. We had some minor servicing problems during the course of this loan, but I am pleased to say that NB&T resolved them promptly and honorably. Having a problem is unfortunate - but having and resolving a problem gives me more confidence in any institution. I endorse Northern Bank & Trust: we have been well and fairly treated by their staff and management.

  This is by far the worst bank with which I have ever had any experience. Customer service is absolutely abysmal! Although their interest rates may be attractive, do NOT be tempted! The total lack of concern for customers is not worth it! Stay away!

  Don’t know who the lady who was rude and hung up on my girlfriend for no reason is, but that’s not how you treat customers. If you don’t wanna be there then find something else to do with your life. Go to TD Bank instead.
