  My home was hit by a tornado on May 4th and destroyed half of my home… after two months the insurance company final sent us a check for repairs…but it had our names along with New Rez, which meant they had to endorse in order for us to deposit. after I overnighted the check 2 weeks and now they are asking us to sign the check over to them and they will issue out funds and send all this unnecessary paperwork they want..as of today, I haven’t received the check back to endorse so in the meantime, the house is getting worse and worse because it’s raining everyday. This is the worst mortgage company we have ever dealt with.. I’m going to refer back to my original loan agreement to in order to find out how in the world they got my loan. I am going to write a review every week until I deposit those funds in my account.. those are insurance premiums I paid in for years..

  One year after my mortgage was purchased by this company, they decided to send a check to my previous mortgage servicer. To do this, they took my monthly payment, after sending me a statement showing I had made it, and sent it to the previous company. Did they tell me that my payment was actually never applied to my account despite what my statement said? No. Then they charged me late fees. Twice - as it took me a full month to even notice that my scheduled payments were being applied to the previous month instead of the month I thought I was paying. I spent several hours on the phone seeking explanations - was promised I would be contacted by a supervisor (which never happened) and eventually just had to pay the late fees in order to get my account up to date. So, you decide - great business or not?

  It's impossible for me to express how poorly run this company is. I am reporting this company for mortgage fraud after months of patience, trying to work with them, and having them fraudulently draft money that wasn't owed from my account, lying to me, and making changes to my account without my authorization or knowledge. Stay as far away from this company as you can. Even 0 stars would be far too generous. I would give the strongest negative rating I could if possible. In the middle of a pandemic/recession, with my wife out of a job and my tenant unable to pay rent, t his company has repeatedly screwed us over to the tune of thousands of dollars. My issues have not been resolved despite countless emails and hours on the phone. Luckily, I am in a situation where I will be fine financially, but I am worried for other consumers who are on more of shoestring budget or not as financially literate as I am.

  I have been working with this company for months now. Still my I have not closed on my house. They gave a good interset rate late they change it. I tried to go with another company they said they can beat that rate and close in 60 days. I should not contact them for any reason, they will contact me if any paper is need. It has been more than 60 days now still no response and they will not email or respond to my phone calls. Now I have to start all over again. THANKS FOR WASTING MY TIME AND ENERGY. I know people who have stated the same process when I started they have closed on their homes months ago and I am stuck. Be careful when dealing with this group get everything in writing do not believe any word they say till you see it in writing. Giving them 1 star is me being generous. They suck bad.

  I just got off the phone with my loan officer and he told me the company doesn't allow him to call the sales team on the phone. I got a disclosure last week that I signed and sent back after waiting for 4 months and then another disclosure next day doubling the closing costs and decreasing the lender credit in around $1,000. If you can avoid them, do so. I will try.

  This company is poor with customer service. I could never ever get anyone to answer my questions directly, the representatives seem to know nothing about anything, and getting in touch with a supervisor or anyone that knows anything about my questions is as possible as Iowa state being on the Equator line. NewRez LLCis whack !

  I started my application to refinance my house since October 2020 And my get the approval for my application but until now I didn’t get the closing date I tried to call them 100 time send them a lot of email I left a little voicemail messages but there is no reply at all that’s not a customer service I’ll do my best to transfer my loan from this company even if it will cost me
