  Very disappointed with this bank. I got a car loan from them in 2011, and I almost paid it off. I have been making double payments every month just to pay off the loan quicker and earn a good relationship with this bank. But when recently I came to them for personal loan, they just turned me away and ignored the fact that I have been loyal customer and never missed a payment even by a day. I did not expect this kind treatment. In couple of months I paying off the loan and never coming back to this bank. So if you are thinking that once you start relationship with this bank and maintain it, they will count it and help you out in the future then go somewhere else.

  I loved PLCU, been in the auto industry for over 30 years. And I am sad to see another bank be bought out. But I guess it they lay if the land. Hope the new people running it are just as nice .

  I've been with them over 35 years. Service is 2nd to none. Never have they made a mistake. They greet me like I'm a friend. They carry all of my loans. Car. Home. Never would I bank anywhere else. Thanks so much PLCU. I'm a life time customer. So is my son. Our membership is generational.

  Great credit union. Can't say enough good things about them. When I had brain surgery they sent me a get well card. When I referred a friend I got a sizable gift card to Phil's barbecue. They helped me get my credit back on track. Very friendly, helpful and professional.

  PLCU has been doing my banking for almost 40 years. Multiple accts and business accts, too. Never a problem, always friendly and eager to please. I wouldn't change unless I moved away - maybe not even then!

  While I have always been treated well as a customer in the branches there is no way to contact any of the branches via telephone. The 'phone system is designed in such a way that a person can never get through to speak to any representative. Keep this in mind if you contemplate using Point Loma Credit Union...

  Great credit union. The staff here are friendly, professional and provide excellent customer service. Every time I go in here they treat me with respect and professionalism. The office is clean and tidy and always has a nice atmosphere about it.
