      The team at Flatbush MCU was SPECTACULAR. They helped me even though I didn’t have an appointment, keep me updated and exceeded my expectations! The branch was friendly, helpful, and joyous! I entered the bank anxious and left happy that my issue was resolved. It’s the happiest branch I’ve ever been to.

      I had the Opportunity to work with Mme Makeida and Mr. Max, the Branch Director and they have been Very Helpful and Guided me from the Beginning till the End. Great and Wonderful People, Very Professional.

      I’ve had MCU for several years but I have never gone into the branch location because of the stories I heard. I needed a loan and I decided to go in. I scheduled an appointment online and I received an appointment for Friday the same week. Upon entering into the branch, I was greeted by a friendly security guard who took my information and placed me in the waiting area. Within 2 minutes, Cheyenne came over and escorted me to her desk. What was most striking about Cheyenne was how well-versed she was about the loan process. She was able to answer every question posed. She also gave me insight into my credit score. Not only was she knowledgeable, she was relatable and friendly. We had a great conversation while doing the loan application. It was not a long, drawn-out process. Cheyenne was efficient and I was in the bank for less than 30 mins. By the time I got home- within the same hour Cheyenne called me to tell me my loan was approved. She provided me her email address and step by step instructions on what to do next. The following Monday, I received a call bright and early from Jessie. She informed me that Cheyenne was out but if I needed any assistance to contact her. She provided me with her email and phone number. I called Jessie Monday afternoon around 4pm to assist me. The bank is schedule to close at 4:30pm so I knew I was pressed for time. I needed them to finalize the auto loan that day and cut the check so I can purchase my new vehicle. Jessie assured me that everything would be taken cared of that day. The same service I received from Cheyenne, I received from Jessie. Jessie was competent, skillful, and helpful. Jessie got the job done. When I called back again, Jessie was dealing with a client so I was assisted by Max. Who, like Jessie, reassured me that everything would be finalized that same day. Max was pleasant, reassuring, and helpful. I believe I received my final call from Jessie close to 7pm. She and Max stayed late just to assist me! Wow! What a spectacular team. All and all, I’ve been told that the prior team wasn’t as good. Rest assured, this power team -Max, Jessie, and Cheyenne will go above and beyond for you. They consider their MCU members. I left this experience feeling appreciated and valued as an MCU member. Thank you guys for your help! Yvie

      The ATMs at this particular location have consistently been an issue and has only gotten worse recently. I came to this location a few months ago and by the end of my transaction my card was taken and never given back. I came back tonight using the new card, and the ATM first took my money, then said my pin was incorrect, and when I cancelled the transaction, the machine flashed a “Thank You for Coming to MCU” message with no receipt and the money failing to be credited to my account or given back to me. With these constant issues, new cards needing to be sent out because of constant fraud and internal theft, and always needing new codes to log into your account, it is quite stressful. Despite these issues, the staff has been very helpful in trying to resolve any problems the customers come across, including myself.

      Worst bank ever! Bad enough there are barely branches but a good portion of them are ATM only with no actual teller servicing. I call customer service (which is a nightmare) and finally get a hold of somebody who was really nice. She proceeds to tell me "don't worry, our Flatbush branch will be able to do your check deposit with NO ATM card" I asked again "are you sure? Because i do not have a bank card to use the ATM in order to carry out a check deposit?" She said "yes". I walk in, take a number and get a representative who states that I cannot be helped. Of course they have bankers to open accounts but no tellers. Worthless bank.

      I wish that I could give it No star but I had to it it in order to write the review. This is the worst branch ever. Talk about attitude! If you don’t like your job than change it. They act as if you are bothering them. Like stay home or something. You should be lucky to at least have a job.

      This bank is always in fault.. First of all there ATM machine ate my 900.00 dollars up and didn't go into my account..Then I check my accounts cause I noticed my receipts wasnt out from ATM machine.. i immediately went to the teller made and frustrated the machine took my money..They said nothing they can do but out in a claimed..Why AM I putting a claimed I have to wait for their faulty ATM machine..I told them I have bills too take care of and Supervisor said she makes sure she handle it today..This occur and 210pm on FRIDAY JANUARY 8, 2021.It's now Saturday and MO CALL AND KNOW THEY SAY THIS BANK CLOSED ON SATURDAY..ALL I KNOW MONDAY SOMEONE NEED MAKE ME WHOLE..IM DISAPPOINTED WITH RHE SERVICE AND THE LACK OF URGENCY FROM THESE CUSTOMERS REPS AND SUPERVISOR HELPING AND MAKING SURE CUSTOMERS DONT HAVE THIS PROBLEM..I NEED MY MONEY NOW..

      Stay far away from MCU. City Council will soon be bringing the entire organization under investigation. MCU is literally the very worst Credit Union you can bank with. ---Crazy hours, unhelpful employees (who also have attitudes), awful customer service, subpar banking services, and branches that are not full service. ATM's are constantly out of order, the online banking system is from 1998, and the CEO was recently indicted for stealing money from the company. FYI: Be prepared to spend about 25 minutes on average when you go to MCU. There will always be an issue to delay you.
