  Some of the rants people go on after losing an item is sad . You knew, or, if you didn't know, you were not only told , but explained to , what would happen if you default on your payment. The fine people at Mike's have never done me wrong. I really like the new top shelf guitar section. Great deals. I bought one recently myself, no complaints whatsoever. I've been dealing with them since they opened the store in Scottsburg, going on 5 yrs. Never a problem.. LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR LIFE

  Previously, I've had fairly good results at Mike's. But it's obviously because I sold my items out right or didn't need to leave them longer than 1 month. Today I discovered that what they do is they keep adding the interest on each month even if you pay it! Here's what happened. I got a loan of $40. They added $8 for interest. I came in the following month and paid the $8 interest. It should've then reverted back to $48. But they said it was $56! As if I hadn't paid it! Then he wouldn't even listen to an explanation just insisted he'd been doing this 30 yrs and that's how it's done. So he's been ripping people off for 30 yrs! Which I doubt because people would've recognized it by now. My problem here is that he wouldn't even listen to my side of it. He was going by the agents word. They kept trying to say that if you get the loan for 90 days, you owe the interest each time and yes that's true but not when you come in to pay it! I ended up getting my items back and it cost me as if I hadn't paid the interest last month. The loan was only at the 2 month mark! What should've been $48 to retrieve my items ended up being $56! I've often thought they gave low ball prices and end up selling some items at full retail prices. This showed me that they are unreasonable and do not value their customers. I've brought my business to them on several occasions but never again! Not only were they rude and unreasonable but dishonest as well!

  Owner and employee's are always very helpful Thay need to go back to staying open till 5pm on Saturdays ats only day I can get to town after work and now thier not open

  Thanks Greg, we are sorry that we have had to cut back the hours on Saturdays. We are short staffed like everyone right now, and when we can find some more help we will be open until 5 again. Thank you for being a loyal customer.

  They have always been very fair and kind and are willing to work with you on prices. I’ve never had a problem with them and they are honestly probably the best pawn shop I’ve ever been to. Their kindness is off the wall.

  I have been a customer here for a long time and have never had an issue until the blonde woman(dont know her name) started working there. She has very poor customer service skills. I asked her to hook up an xbox360 so I can see if it works and she said it would be easier if I took it home and checked it myself. And sure enough I drive home and check it and it has no audio and won't read any games I try. When I brought it back they treated me like I was doing something wrong or trying to scam them or something. Mike was nice enough to swap it out with a slightly better one and checked to see if it worked. But then he said "let's waste a few minutes hooking it up" like I was wasting his time. It turned out to work perfectly with the SAME EXACT CORDS AND GAMES that I tried the first time. Won't be going back again.

  These guys were great to deal with and willing to negotiate to make a sale! Those who have complained clearly don’t understand supply and demand for highly saturated items like Glocks. For instance, a “new” gun still has to be sold as used. So a brand new Gen4 should be sold for about 300-350 after negotiation. I will be back!

  Insulting. I thought I would pawn a new, never been loaded, never been shot, still in its case handgun of mine to keep from paying a bill late. They offered me $100 pawn on a $600 Glock. If they would have offered $200-250, I wouldn't have been insulted since it was only needed for 2 weeks. No way will I ever buy anything there. It did look like they had some nice things in there too.

  We apologize that you were not satisfied with your visit. The Glock that you brought in to us retailed for $400 brand new, not $600. We also offered you $200 on a pawn, not $100 like you stated.

  You've always treated me with reasonable prices on purchasing and pawning. I do have a question tho, are you all currently still open due to the covd-19 virus? Just wondering before drive to town. Thanks so much!
