  I cannot say enough about the experience that my daughter and I had opening a Young Adult Checking Account with Saugerties Branch Manager Linda Scofield. Not only did Linda stay past closing time to help us, but she explained every aspect of how to use the new account, the risks of having an account and fraud risk, and much more. Absolutely 5 star service!

  I love my MHVFCU Branch. One of the last real hometown type banks. Everyone is always friendly and genuinely helpful. I’m always treated like a welcomed person. Loan prices are great too. Today I was helped by a teller named Will who time and time again has gone out of his way to insure everything was taken care of completely and in a courteous manner. I really appreciate things like this. It’s nice to have places where this type of treatment is still the norm. Look into their credit cards too. The rates are really good.

  We had a bumpy road- but MHVFCU pulled through for us with outstanding customer service from Brianna, the Member Services Rep at our local Saugerties branch. Due to covid and restructuring there were gaps in communication between customer service and their online banking team. We lost functionality with QuickBooks being able to communicate with online banking and were not sure where to turn to for help. A larger commercial bank would have pushed our issues to the side as a small business, but Brianna took initiative and went above and beyond her normal role to advocate for us with other departments. Once she got involved our situation resolved quickly. It is the level of care that you get from a local bank that can really make a huge difference when your business is facing an issue.

  Staff is nice but I'm not a fan of the bank. To open a secure line of credit, they require an extra 25% and then charge $50 late fees to borrow against YOUR own money. There is no way to pay a bill online, yet they spam with hundreds of emails. HVCU is so much better I can't wait to cancel my account at MHV.

  Thank you for letting me know that someone from florida was trying to shop on my checking account. They verified me. And locked my acct.nise and and swift action.thank you again. As for you idiots out thier that are trying to hack into people acct and.coputers.stop not your money don't touch it.

  Banking with MHVFCU Saugerties branch is totally a pleasure . Whether a simple small transaction to even getting a mortgage Is an awesome experience. The entire team there is so polite , friendly , professional and courteous . In all the years I have banked there they have always been on the money ( no pun intended ) .   I needed to close out two accounts, due to a death in my family, at MHV and went into the Saugerties Branch. I was greeted and referred to the person whom could help me. The entire process was seamless! I can't tell you how happy I was with the professionalism I experienced. Thank you!

  We’ve been customers for as long as I can remember. Definitely 23 years or more. We’ve had nothing but excellent experiences with the people who work there whether it’s been a teller at the drive thru, inside or a manager who can help with larger issues. Great credit union because of the great people. Free coffee and hot chocolate is a nice feature too.

  I am always greeted by warm, familiar faces when I visit this branch. Holly, always goes above and beyond to make sure all my problems are resolved in a timely fashion. I would absolutely recommend this bank.
