  I brought in a collectible gun and asked for a low price. They didn't know much about it, then they left the safety off, after putting it in its bag again after giving me an offer that was a tiny just a fraction of ebay sold prices. Sorry, but my gun is worth more than a happy meal. Lowball is putting it too kindly. Then the owner told me to take my hands out of my pockets when I had walked in out of a cold windy day while browsing overpriced tool section. What was he implying, and what's his trip?

  Went in before my birthday and was helped well, went back in to purchase a rifle, it was busy but I accidentally gave the worker extra 50$ bill and he gave it back, some people would have kept it, I have been using this shop for almost 10 yrs, the owner JR, helped me and my ex when we had to move while finishing college. He would take the oddest things from me. He helped us alot, and I saw others he did favors for whilst in the shop, like a older lady who would pawn her ring, and everytime she would get emotional, so he said " how about I give you (blank) and we can skip you getting upset again huh" the woman smiled and said ok, so yeah gold, sliver, and firearms are universal here almost. But the service is way BETTER than anywhere I've been in the Twin cities area. I'll update after I get my rifle transferred to my person.

  Been in for a few orders and purchases and every time has been a great experience. The staff are always welcoming and helpful, taking time to answer questions and double check accessory compatibilities. Definitely will be coming back!

  This is the first time I have purchased from Metro and was extremely pleased! They not only helped inform me of my options but actually resolved a possible issue before it happened. The guys were fun, respectful and very friendly. I WILL purchase there again in the future and will also make sure I refer my friends and family there too. Thanks again Metro for taking the time to really inform me of all the options I had and making my shopping experience enjoyable. It's tough to find that kind of service everyday!

  Absolutely AWESOME. Knowledgeable and extremely friendly staff. Picked up my first firearm here, the guys really helped me make a great choice for what i was looking for. Highly recommended. See you guys soon, Happy shooting folks.

  Had taken my Sig 1911 apart to clean and couldn't get back together, they were happy to show me how to do it correctly, no charge...even though I hadn't bought it from them...they had a large selection of interesting items, will have to go back when I have more time and explore more.

  I have sold my scrap gold & silver here a few times over the last 10 years. I go back to JR becuse hes Always been above and fair, Plus Super enjoyable to do buisness with! I Never have walked out feeling like I was ripped off like I have in most other places I had previously sold too. I did miss this time seeing that Pink Automatic on the wall. Otherwise Perfect!

  I went in to purchase a box of target ammo and noticed the staff open carry their weapons. I don't take issue with this but they looked upset. They froze as I walked in. I'm not sure why but maybe they were scared because I'm half black. I walked in very presentable too and even greeted them. They didn't say anything to me as I approached the register. They were acting strange. I felt very unsafe. I won't go back and I recommend any person of color to conceal carry when around this establishment.

  Sold some DVDs here recently. The gentleman who owns the store was polite and fair and gave me a good price for them. (Better than Cheapo, in fact.) The store sells a lot of firearms, too, so if you're not comfortable around weapons, you won't like it here. Also, if you can't handle the occasional bigoted anti-immigrant, anti-black, anti-Obama, or anti- whatever comment from CUSTOMERS you should avoid this place during its busy hours, as is sadly the case with most gun shops these days. I hasten to add that the owner didn't espouse or agree with any of the rancidly prejudicial statements of some of his more colorful customers. He also didn't contradict them, especially when one gentleman informed me loudly that the problem with this country is that "they let too many of the wrong kind of people in these days." I swear, walking in there was like taking a hike through Kentucky.

  I don't understand why people keep trash talking them about their stance on people of color, I've been in there multiple times each time there were individuals of different races all being treated equally. They aren't racists, they work at a friggen gun shop, its all about how you present yourself when you come in with body language and how you speak to them. All very helpful, fair prices. (If you're going to complain about their prices I suggests going to Bills Gun Range and Gander Mountain, you'll shut up then.) I just moved to the Richfield area not too long ago and plan on making multiple purchases from them, and getting a few sent to their shop.
