Marine Federal Credit Union Reviews

Shelby Mustang1To even have this establishment bearing the name Marine Federal Credit Union is a travesty. I only pray there are no actual former Marines on their board, because if there is they need to find another line of work. Terrible at best!
Response from the ownerShelby, what happened?

Shane Oltman2This credit union is full of problems and impossible to go in person due to their hours.

Kisha Tennon1I opened a bank account with this credit union because they made me using shared branching unnecessarily difficult. I was a victim of identity and credit card fraud and the account I had with this bank was affected. I called wtith them on the phone with the other institution and Marine Federal Credit Union advised me they would give me the fees I was charged for the identity and credit card fraud but when I went into the bank after doing their work to get the situation rectified they kept my money. The people here appear to have a nice face but are cruel and evil people and do not care about the members of this banking facility. I lost a lot of money and missed work and they did not help me at all! Please go to another credit union!

David Swan1It's another Saturday oversight at MC Credit Union. Yes, it's New Year's Eve and yes it's a Saturday. The MCCU does have a post on the web site stating hours (normal 9-12) may change. But there's no voice response on the phone for the Stafford, VA office and how hard is it to post the working hours decided upon by the manager? There's a clear problem with management at the Stafford, VA location. This discrepancy is as bad as the rules to establish online access to your account. I finally gave up on the latter. Folks, it's just another credit union and not representing the USMC very well. I'm a long-time member and a Marine for 47 years. Time to hire some leaders there!

Eric Edley1Soooo I came to this bank to deposit money like I have been doing for years. I came to deposit $200 and did just that, so I thought. I gave the teller 4 $50 dollar bills and went on about my business. After a couple of days I checked my account t and it said I was short with 0.00 as a balance and I said that can't be right! So I checked the deposit which I used to never do because it's always been correct up until this point. Sure enough the lady took my $200 and deposited $100 and put $100 on the recipe aaaaaaaaaand on top of that said that I gave her 5 $20s on the recipe when I didn't have any 20s to give. So somebody took my 2 $50 bills and when they reviewed the camera they said they can't tell me anything about what they saw because it could jeopardize the Integrity of the building only that I signed for $100 an pretty much said it's my fault and to pay more attention next time. I didn't need to see the footage for myself I just wanted to be told if they saw l 50s or 20s and that discrepancy alone should have proven my case but they didn't want to respond and more less sent me out the door smh

Bryan Boyd1I am member of MFCU and have been since the early 1990's. However, I am really not happy with their hours of operation on Saturday. I had an issue that I needed help on so I called the Stafford Location at 10:45 am since they advertised they were open until 1200. I was on hold for 1 hour 20 mins until 1205. This is extremely unprofessional to keep patrons on hold for that long.
