  I have heard great things about this place. Unfortunately I can never go. I work 7 to 5 Tuesday thru Sunday. Mondays I have off and no one is open. It would be cool if this place one day out of that week stayed open till 8. It would allow people like me to come shop it.

  Every summer I go to the Lake with my family and every summer we stop off to see Jon at Maine Pawn & Jewelry. What a great place! We always find something we need or want TV's, watches, DVD's for the kids. My husband found a brand new bicycle there once so cheep he just had to buy it! I don't think I've paid retail for a TV in 15 years! My sisters and I have some absolutely fabulous jewelry from Maine Pawn. Stop by, this store is a real jem and Jon is very knowledgeable about everything in his store and he couldn't be nicer. You'll find a treasure to take home.

  Maine Pawn & Jewelry is by far the BEST pawn shop my boyfriend and I have ever done business with and the only one we will ever use again should the occasion arise (and it probably will, uh such is life). Having the need to pawn an item is usually a stressful time for most people. However, the owner always handles the situation with fluid proficiency and utter professionalism. John answers all our questions without making us feel rushed and always does his absolute best to help when we are in a jam. We cannot Express how much we have appreciated his honesty and fairness. He is quite knowledgeable about all the items he carries such as watches, estate jewelry/other jewelry, guitars, amps, coins, guns, stereos & stereo equipment, and other various items. So, if you're looking for a smooth and easy process from someone that'll treat you right rather you need to pawn an item or to sell it outright then I highly recommend heading on over to Maine Pawn and Jewelry!! Definitely 5 stars and four thumbs way up!!

  A couple of weeks ago I needed cash really Bad,and very quick ! Went to Maine Pawn and Jewelry.Jonathan the owner was very nice ,he helped me out when No other would. I know there's not very many places I can walk in broke and worried of my lights or whatever being shut off .And there's a kind face saying yes I'll Help! All I can say is Thank you from the bottom of my heart! And I'll be back !

  I went here and sold a used gaming system and some old gold I forgot I had, owner was very pleasant, and I was in and out within 10 minutes! Best pawn shop in Maine! Will definitely be returning!!!

  In a situation where anyone normally would have lost an item, in regards to a pawn, they were understanding and were able to assist.

  Awful experience, refused to purchase a Wii I brought in due to it being an original one, despite having original Xbox 360s which predate the release of said Wii.
