Debra L Coffey5UPDATE: Thank you for addressing this issue! Original post: Love LGE, BUT fraud is a HUGE part of todays life! I needed you after hours and apparently we have no resources available after 9pm for account fraud. We need to get this fixed asap, please, since the fraudsters are using LGE's number to call us from. PLEASE folks BEWARE, not all calls that come in from LGE's number are LEGITEMENT CALLS. Apparently they can impersonate anyone's number, so be careful!

Alice Murphy1My husband and I moved all our accounts from Suntrust, in hopes of being with a smaller entity, where we would be more than just a number. We live really close to the Dallas location, so that was a plus. Opening our checking and savings wasn't an issue, but everything else has been. From refinancing our home with them, to buying a boat.....the list goes on. There is definitely an issue somewhere down the line, with documentation getting to the right places. I think the straw that broke the camels back, was when I needed to fax something, when I was in the branch having something notarized. They won't even fax something for you, and I was even willing to pay for it. I had to drive to Suntrust, where they didn't even ask to see my ID. They just took my document, faxed it and handed it back with a smile on their face. I'm so disappointed in LGE!!!

Kiara Hansberry1This is my second time at this location and the service here is appalling. I try to avoid this credit union and i go out of my way to go to the one in Dallas. Teller 2398 was very rude to me. I came in tonight to deposit cash into the atm and the atm gave me a message and said it was no longer accepting 1’s. I called over a teller and she immediately gave me an attitude and said you can’t be on FaceTime inside of here. I said I’m sorry i didn’t know there’s no signs on the door that say that. So i hung up. So i told her that the atm wasn’t taking anymore of my money, she said yeah because it’s full, still with an attitude. I asked her if she could deposit it in the back and asked me how much money was in my hand i said i don’t know but i can count it. She took the money out of my hand and counted it and said is it $70 i said i don’t know i didn’t get to count it. So she went into the back with my cash. And i saw an older lady come out of the back and i told her i didn’t know we weren’t allowed to be on FaceTime in the store and she looked at me and turned her back to me. I said excuse me i was asking you a question, and she said yeah it’s security reasons. I said there’s no sign that says we can’t be on FaceTime but there is a sign that says masks are required and no one is wearing a mask. Both tellers were very rude and confrontational towards me but were kind to the other members. Teller 2398 should go through more customer care training and work on her people skills because her attitude was unacceptable.

James Usher1LGE has been a part of our families banking history for many years, however I am not sure if we will continue this. I was in route to an event on Dallas Hwy this Saturday weekend, 10/31, when I attempted to turn into the parking lot I was greeted by a large political BUS. From the looks of it, It seems as though LGE was personally/professionally endorsing this political candidate. LGE was not breaking the law however, it is a concern for me that any financial institutions that are endorsing candidates, It is in appropriate. I will be considering taking my business elsewhere.

Any politics-related vehicle you may have seen on site was not coordinated by LGE Community Credit Union and does not indicate any endorsement of any kind. As soon as we were notified of the vehicle's presence, our team had it removed from the property. I hope this helps. -Team LGE

Debbie R1I was on hold for an hour and 7 minutes! The other call was 28 minutes of hold. Customer service has gotten very bad since LGE bought Georgia Heritage. Now you can't call a branch (it rolls over); there is just one phone number to call to ask a question, and you will be on hold for at least a 1/2 hour before someone answers. That's crazy! And I missed the deadline for a wireless transfer. If it can't be done electronically, you are out of luck unless you drive there. Unfortunately I don't live close to any branch.

Andrea Couch5Customer service here is amazing. I even came back today and opened my son a savings account. They were fast, efficient, and polite. They took time to actually talk to us. I am very happy with my decision to bank with them.
