Dominique Domo1KeyBank stole money out of account and trying to play me like I’m a uneducated black woman!!!! December 15,2021 is when it happened and my account information was adjusted overnight to show different,I wish I would took pictures that day when my account reflected the missing money!!!! Now it’s days before Christmas and my money is missing , I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau

Patrick White1This is arguably the most useless financial institution I’ve ever worked with. When the dealer who paid off my loan and I worked together to resolve an issue they were less than accommodating, rude, and dismissive of the problem. One employee even told the dealer rep “I know how some customers can be” in a negative voice with me literally in the room while we were all on the phone. When the dealer and myself thought we resolved an issue i got an email a month later that the account was still open and had to call in again just to be put on hold and eventually he hung up on when i was transferred to a manager. Which was especially infuriating when both the dealer and myself had proof that there didn’t appear to be any errors on my or the dealers part from the beginning and they sent me multiple “your loan is paid off” letters. I would suggest if you’re thinking of financing your vehicle through KeyBank or walking twenty miles a day for the following year- you invest your money in a good pair of Nikes and walk. I wouldn’t (and won’t) trust them with one more penny of my money for the rest of my life.

Joe1Showed up on a random, nondescript Tuesday, NOT a holiday, to retrieve some critical documents from my safe deposit box necessary to get my daughter off to college and renew my driver's license, only to find the branch unexpectedly CLOSED! While three other customers walked up, and then walked away unserved, I called the phone number posted on the door only to hear an automated message that the lobby was open M-Sa which aligned with the sign on the door; NO notification was posted on the door regarding why the branch might be closed. In desperation, I called the 800 number only to be told that it was a Key Bank community service day, and that many branches were closed, or would close early. Really??? It's 2021 and a national bank chain can't send out a simple automated email notification letting customers know of an unusual closure? How many thousands of Key customers across the country visited their bank that day with important personal and business needs only to find it unexpectedly closed with NO COMMUNICATION OR EXPLANATION??? Unethical and inexcusable!!!

Matthew Knauff1Absolutely terrible. They canceled my debit card (that didn't expire for 3 years) without explanation. The replacement card never arrived. I ordered a new card, which did not come in 3 weeks. Turns out they sent it to the wrong address, even though the confirmation email listed the correct address. I switched to PNC and they printed me a debit card in 30 seconds. Save yourself the time and hassle and take your business elsewhere. To the KeyBank person who responded to my post: I've already closed my account and found a new bank. Your bank's level of incompetence is irredeemable. I don't care to find out what the issue was. What I know is that I did everything I needed to do and was without a debit card for 3 weeks. I opened a CD with you 20 years ago as a teen...sad to see how far you've fallen.
