  Joey and his team were great to work with, and we closed very quickly (and the agent came to our house to close!). The only thing more I could ask for is better awareness among the team about the specific (and changing) Texas rules involving cashout loans, aka the "50 (a)(6) mortgage", but Joey was quickly able to communicate the changes that allowed us to convert our loan from a cashout mortgage back to a standard mortgage. All in all, it was a great experience and we'd recommend Joey any day.

  Joey and his excellent support team helped me navigate financing for a complicated dual-close refi-into-new-purchase deal, and closed it ON TIME, despite the crazy current dynamics of the Austin-area real estate market. Communication was timely, information was sound, and estimates made on day one showed up on the closing statement just as discussed. Joey and team will be my first call when it's time to set up financing for my next purchase!

  After a long process of signing and submitting very personal documents, was mislead into a situation where I was told I would qualify for refinance only to have the entire process fall apart at the very end. All this could have been avoided if there was proper leadership and if his team would have asked the right questions upfront and avoided this complete waste of my time. Also, when you sign up for Joey you don’t actually work with Joey, you are handed over to others who just keep asking for the same documentation with very little coordination; like buying a car , Joey just gives a very brief sales pitch in the beginning and promptly disappears rarely returning calls or texts. Go to someone reputable that won’t waste your time, I’m sorry I gave this team a shot, it really does not appear that they have the experience to drive these applications efficiently.

  Carlos, I appreciate your feedback and understand your frustration. You may recall there were a few items we had to work through together, once the process was initiated. You selected an option that would allow us to move more quickly however, upon the receipt of certain documents (after we had started the loan process), we discovered information that prohibited us from moving forward (per Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac rules). We ask for specific personal financial information when it is required to complete the loan. I understand your reticence to provide certain documents but that is the nature of a home loan application, as is working with several specialists on any lender’s team (e.g. originator, processor, underwriter, etc.).   Its been a one heck of roller coaster but probably the best one I’ve been on. Joey, I want to say thank you! You helped make my dreams come true. Being able to give the word Perseverance a unique definition based on my story is truly self-inspiring! The process went as smooth as it could go and when facing the crazy hiccups we faced, ehh it wasn’t anything we couldn’t handle. Now onto new adventures and one day down the line house #2!
