  It's the best bank I've ever used! They're checking and savings accounts are FREE, they even have special high interest savings accounts for kids & teens!

  Easy loan process and they have been very responsive to concerns. It's nice that even when I have not been in the lobby for months, the staff knows me by name.

  I like the services that this bank offers, but it is impossible to get ahold of them on the phone. 9/10 times I call, I'm listening to their recorded message for 10+ minutes before it times out and I'm only left to leave a voicemail or hang up. If I leave a voicemail for a call back, I never receive a call and the process continues until I get lucky and someone answers. Also, when I wanted to transfer my car loan over to them, I wanted to ask a simple question and got interrupted and given a snotty attitude. Unfortunately I can't remember her name but the professionalism with some of the staff is 0/10.

  Customer service could use some work on the bank side. I just need you to listen before you speak. I was trying to set up direct deposit as I have in the past. Understandably I don’t have a checking account because I just use them for savings they were not able to provide me with a voided check. I repeated what I needed three times to the rep who answered the phone on Center street. Unfortunately she wanted to let me know that what they provided should be sufficient, even though the employer is saying it’s not. It’s not Isu credit union giving me a hard time it’s the employer. My frustration is I went to the bank twice before I called. When I did call, I was cut off mid sentence to ask what account number and routing number I provided to the employer. She continued by trying to refer me back to the employer because she was done speaking to me. If she would have listened in the beginning this call would have went much smoother. The employer explained to me they needed something with my name, account number, routing number and on a letterhead to show its a legitimate account. Please just listen to your customers, don’t interrupt it’s rude and you might miss an important detail.

  Had job interview, was told it would be the end of April when a decision was made. Checked a week before, nothing. No follow up email or call like they said would happen. Went in, left my contact info with the receptionist. Nothing. Called and got sent to a HR voicemail, left message and nothing, they completely ghosted me. Totally unprofessional.

As part of our hiring process, we send a letter to applicants informing them of their status after the interview process is completed. We believe it is important to inform potential hires of the status after their interviews and we will work to do better in the future.

  I have been a member of ISU Credit Union for half my life! I never expected to still be a member after I graduated from ISU, but I've been happy with their bank and loan services, and I'm still with them. They've helped me get a low interest rate on a car loan and personal loan. If I ever needed another loan again, I would definitely work with them. They are helpful, honest, and trustworthy.

  I wouldn't even give this place a 1 star if I could. The woman Sandy, is the reason I will NEVER do business with them again, nor will I EVER recommend this place. She has the WORST customer service, and a HORRIBLE attitude when you ask her just a simple question.
