Prickle Pack Hedgehogs4I needed to deposit cash at this branch, a large stack of ones and fives. The employees were all super friendly, the branch was clean and well-lit, and they had taken proper COVID precautions. I didn’t see a drive through ATM which I do believe in this day and age should be at all bank branches, but otherwise I enjoyed my time at this branch.

Kristen P1I wish I could give them no stars at all. This is one of the WORST banks I have ever had the misfortune of opening an account with. The staff is rude & not educated in their line of work. They also do NOT notify you of ANY changes to your account even when you sign up thru text, emails & calls. There is absolutely no communication between client & bank. Do yourself a favor & save yourself the headache.

Kevin Fletcher2Vice President Branch Manager, Charity Smith, opened our accounts and automatically (opted us in), which resulted in 7 overdraft charges totaling $245.00, for being overdrawn less than 24 hours. Had we been (opted out), which law states all new accounts must be unless attached to a credit card or another account, 5 of the charges would have been denied. When Ms. Smith was asked what could be done she stated "nothing, even had I opted you out you would still be charged". Such was not the case when I called their 1-888 #, they informed me that was not correct and reversed 5 of the charges. Thank you Firstmerit! $175.00 is a huge deal to someone unemployed. Oh and it was nice to read in today's newspaper that Firstmerit's profit jumped 9% in their third quarter. I wonder how that may have happened...

Chris Hill1Called three days in a row for a business banker and they keep saying he’s in tomorrow, in later today, not in today. If you need to get business done this is not the bank you should deal with. Liars and unprofessional as they come.
