Huntington Bank Reviews

Chaz Hipple2I am a manager at a local retail business and we do the majority of our banking at this branch of Huntington Bank. Lately we have had a shortage on our management team which has led to me having the bring in multiple deposits at the same time. I could tell very quickly the first time I brought in 3 deposits at once that the teller was annoyed with me because she shot a glance at the other teller and rolled her eyes. This has persisted the other times I have brought in multiple deposits. The attitude is very poor, and the eye rolling is absolutely uncalled for. I am bringing your bank thousands of dollars and it is your JOB to take that money and count it and show me the respect I deserve as a customer. I think it may be time for your bank to hire some people of the younger generation because when I do my personal banking at another bank I never get treated like this and there is a significant age difference. I would not even consider doing my personal banking at Huntington Bank because of how I have been treated at this branch. The teller even took it upon herself to inform me I could use the drop box off to make my deposit so I wouldn't have to do multiple deposits at once. No kidding? Really? If I had time to do that I wouldn't be bringing multiple deposits to begin with! And I prefer to have my deposits counted in front of me, thank you. It was a very nice attempt to pass the buck.

Daniel McMullen1The worst bank branch I have EVER been to for Huntington. I have been a customer for over 10 years, but only recently started using this branch because I moved to White Oak a year ago. At least three times when I pulled into the drive thru, and another car pulled in after me, the staff would wait on the person they recognized first over me. And then they chit chat about ball games, family and do anything but their job. I'll never set foot in there, and I never go there unless I am using the ATM. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH IF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IMPORTANT TO YOU! That is unless, you personally know one of the tellers.... nothing but one star reviews, what does that tell you? I wish I could give them negative stars after today. I hate this place more every day.

Iyana Tennon1I sent my rent payment through bill pay seven days before it was due. The rent was never received and I was charged a late fee. The bank said we sent it, if it didn't get there they are sorry but an apology is all they can give. No tracking number or certification it was actually sent. I spoke with several customer service representatives, 2 supervisors and a my branch. I feel that a bank sending anything over $500 should require a signature or confirmation of delivery. They can't even prove they sent it. My late fee is $139 and after Hurricane Irma every dollar matters. There's no humility with this bank and I will be closing this account and taking my money out this weekend. There was no warning that said USE BILL PAY AT YOUR OWN RISK. I feel there should be some guarantee the funds will get to the designated Place in a timely manner.

Kim Simpson1Do not trust your hard earned money to this bank! They have no fraud protection in place compared to other banks. When someone tried to used my debit card from Citizens Bank out of state we immediately received a phone call and the card was cancelled. Huntington allowed a charge for a package shipped to New York (we live in PA) with a clearly fake name (there are numbers in the name) to go through. When we asked to have the charge reversed we were told no as it had gone through (it is clearly in a pending status). Then, when asked why they did not catch the fake name and out of state address we were told that their fraud department does not work on weekends. Then , when my husband asked to speak to a supervisor he was hung up on. I will be withdrawing all funds this week and finding a new bank.

Cathy K1The worst bank I ever been to they close the one in McKeesport permanently so I decided to try to go to the one in White Oak as you walk in the door you can't even get in or out because of the security system they have set up you have to know what to do when you go in the door or you can't get in and then can't get out I was trying to put money in my son's account they wouldn't let me do that either it's not like I'm trying to take money out I was trying to put money in face and I need to know his account number not his social security number horrible

Michelle Bloom1I just left the bank in white oak. I must say I've never had some one actually argue with me instead of assisting with a situation at this location. I will never return and am strongly considering changing banks... very rude individual.
