Dustin Werner1As someone who works in benefits administration, I can say that as a customer, your services are trash! 1) I haven't gotten my HSA card in more than 5 weeks! 2) my first batch of funds were more than a week late my account. 3) I had validate my self when I called in, only to have be validated again when I spoke to agent because "your system was down." Let me ask, if you not good at get funds in people's accounts, not good at getting cards out timely, and your call center makes people validate themselves twice, what is it that you proficient at???

Doug Deskin1It's as bad as everyone else says it is. The customer service is a joke and they will not have any answers as well as give conflicting information before hanging up on you. Worst part is that it's not actually a saving account, they offer .01% interest but charge you monthly service fees for letting them hold your money. But wait if you choose to let your balance grow to 5k or more you get an outstanding. 05% interest rate. Complete insanity and no way to save anything plus your health decreases each time you have to call in for all the problems you will encounter.

Dubstep Shep1What a joke of a bank and investment firm. They're willing to throw away tens of thousands of dollars of investment in their bank just for $2.00 a month fee. I know most people don't have a choice, but employers, please don't choose this provider for your HSA.

Donovan Brooks1Tried countless times to transfer an HSA account from HSA Bank and they've rejected all requests despite following their instructions. Update: Probably the worst HSA provider in the space. Just realized they charged a $2.75 monthly service fee for over a year. It is in their fee schedule but obviously it was hidden very well because I only just noticed it (right as I'm closing the account). Still very bitter about not being able to transfer the HSA account.

Hwansung Kang1HSA bank wants you to send you photo ID and SSN card via email. Talk about security incidents waiting to happen. I would not use this company if I had a choice.

shubhinder Puri1i will give them zero star if i could. i had a HSA account for years. about a year ago they started charging me layers of fees such as account maintenance fee, low account fee etc. HSA bank pays minimal interest in their account. if you call HSA bank there is minimum of 30 to 45 minutes wait before someone picks up. i got fed up and wanted to transfer my HSA account to fidelity and they took about 8 weeks to transfer funds. during this time i could not use their debit card and i did not have funds in fidelity. i am over 65 years age and dependent on my HSA funds. i pleaded HSA bank to expedite but they do NOT CARE. i will contact my congressman to lodge complaint against HSA bank for taking this long for transfer and not letting me avail my own money for this long.

Russell Mason1Closed my account with no mail or phone notification and sent the full balance to state unclaimed property. Advised me over the phone to “Google” how to re-claim my health savings account money.

Michael Kunkel1State Farm Bank is dropping their HSA program, so State Farm dropped me in the lap of HSA Bank ( Webster Bank, Sheboygan Wisconsin.) HSA Bank ( aka Webster Bank) is charging me $25 to close the account as I'm switching to Fidelity Investments. Fidelity offers multiple investment options far exceeding the 3 tenths of 1 percent interest that HSA Bank offers IF you are lucky enough to have $25,000 in the your account. If you have less than $3000, they charge you a monthly service fee of $2.50 and even though I had more than that in my account, they still charged me $2.50 on my first statement. Unless you sign up for E-statements, you are also dinged $5.00 a month for paper statements. What a racket!!

Brad Aune1Horrible company to have to deal with. Seems to be on the verge of a scam. Wallet was stolen and HSA card used for over $400. Have been trying to deal with the transaction dispute process and have gotten nowhere over the last three months with weekly discussions with customer service. Have done everything properly and filled out the form to "fax" in. Apparently fax is the only method available for contact regarding this. No phone numbers, no emails, no contact whatsoever with the card processing division. The customer service people also have no way to relay or obtain information on the status of anything. The fax number given on the form is a dead number, tried three different, known working fax machines. Finally after two months of trying, waiting, numerous discussions with customer service, the last one finally tells me yeah, that fax number on the form doesn't work. So with no working fax number, no phone numbers to talk to anyone, and no emails to submit the form. This sounds like fraudulent business in that there is absolutely no way to rectify this situation, and they know this in hopes people will just give up the effort to recuperate their money.
