Marie Langlois5Brandon, Holly and the entire staff at HT South are cordial, professional, helpful and exact in all the transactions we’ve completed with them! We purposefully switched from another bigger bank because of HT’s attention to detail and friendliness. We can’t say enough about how great the staff is!!

Julie Johnson5I have several accounts with Hometrust and I am 100% satisfied on all levels. Customer service is great. I don't feel like "just a customer". They are all amazing. I love walking in and being called by my first name. They always go out of their way to help me, regardless of how big or small the request is.

Morgan Hoxit1The lady who helped me today made me keep driving through the drive through after leaving me sitting there with homeless people surrounding my car for ten minutes without even completing my request to pay my car payment. I gave her two cards and was specific on which card to swipe with the amount on each. She swiped opposite cards and said “this one declined, I have to help the customers behind you, sorry” She swiped the wrong card for the wrong amount and didn’t even let me look to see her mistake before she hurried me off. I’ve been coming here to make this same transaction for years and this was the first time I had encountered this older brown haired white lady with glasses and it was so unpleasant! As we speak I am having to drive to the next home trust so I can pay the rest of my car payment. What a joke.

Lucas Dauphinais1Don't be fooled by the honeymoon period when HomeTrust Bank actually deigns to answer your phone calls to get your business, you will very soon be treated like a villain, and made to participate in a constant runaround where every single question you ask happens to be a question for another person in the company who happens to work the night shift, with no one ultimately taking any accountability. And they will make you feel like it's your fault. Also, they'll just sell your loan before you even get your first statement, so don't think you'll be working with a local (or even regional) company. The corporate bureaucracy they sold me to still hasn't sent me any proper paperwork, they have only sent me a robo-call to ask for all of my personal information over the phone, not a good start. HomeTrust Bank was actively stressful to do business with, and I had to take two separate afternoons off from work to force them to actually deal with my questions after weeks of being ignored and stalled. I did try to use another company, but they slow-walked releasing my appraisal for another lender to use, and I was locked in. Edit: since having my mortgage sold to a non-local bank, I've been been double-billed by HomeTrust Bank, and not had my recent substantial payment applied to my current mortgage statement. The lack of professionalism and communication at HomeTrust Bank is astounding.
