  Don't try going on Saturday and getting something done. Had a home loan with them and refinced with a Company that seemed to really care and a much lower rate. This is not a small town bank feel. You can't even call directly to the the branch you want.

  Nice at first then rude in the end. Closed our corporate account without our knowledge, not even a phone call or email which is not allowed according to banking laws. This is why they stated our account was closed. We applied for the PPP through them provided all documentation that is required by SBA standards and according to the COVID-19 Regulations and procedures for applying. We then get a email after applying asking for documents that was not only not required but discrimination and biased in nature. Our business stated that this was over stepping and not allowed and that if it continues we would have our legal counsel get involved. We stated for them to withdraw our PPP application since it had not been submitted to the SBA yet and was sitting for quiet some time. Well the following morning all accounts was closed that our company had there. They told the founder and head of the board for our company that its their decision and that our company could not basically do anything. We might add we just got Approved for our EIDL the same week for $175,000k plus our emergency $10k grant Now we will not get for about 6-7 weeks because of this little stunt that Hawthorne bank in Clinton, mo pulled. We informed our Attorneys and we informed the SBA about it SBA office in D.C. administration stated that if they find out that HAWTHORNE BANK did this , that they will then be no longer allowed to be a certified SBA lender. Also we have filed suite against the bank and 2 of its employees. Still have not received our funds that was in their bank. DO NOT USE THIS BANK.

  Was lied to by Dan Wallace about a loan we were trying to get to pay for my father in laws funeral. He had me bring paperwork in for my father who was trying to cosign the loan. He knew we didn't qualify and was only trying to get my father's paperwork to find out where he banked and how his disability was paid in order to try and settle a past debt. Tried to take advantage of a grieving family and the kind man trying to help.

  Overwhelmed. Made a large deposit and was charged a $20.00 wiring fee. They don't pay interest on the accounts and they charge you to deposit your money.

  Month straight every Friday it takes 30 minutes to deposit anything even with no line at the drive thru
