hearts4renitennoji5I have to share what Guild Mortgage has done for my family! I am speaking specifically for Monica Davis' team as I had the most experience with them. I was astounded by their professionalism. Very trustworthy, easily understood, precise, and thorough! This team of Angels were able to finish my closing in a week after a nightmare experience with another mortgage company. I am now relaxing with my family in a beautiful home when I thought originally this wasn't possible! Thank you Monica Davis Team for your knowledge, faith, hard work and follow through!!! Rich Hardesty5Kellie Allen and her crew are the best! They take great care of their customers all the way through the mortgage process and focus on doing whatever is needed to close as quickly as possible. We have used Kellie for years and we wouldn't go anywhere else. Excellent customer service, keep their customers informed, and best of all, give the best direction to ensure a smooth closing!

Mark Fleischer5My overall process with Guild couldn't have gone better. With a myriad of choices out there to choose from, selecting the "right" mortgage company can be challenging. With a recommendation from my son, I decided to use Guild for my mortgage. I am so pleased I did. Dennise Sandquist was outstanding to work with. She was truly and advocate for me, coaching me through every part of the process and thoroughly explaining all my options. She even appeared at my closing which was I was pleasantly surprised to see. Thank you and your team from underwriting helping me purchase my home!

Ericka G5We started our homebuying process in Feb and two lenders later we were still not in our house. Our realtor suggested we talk to Angie and her team which we did. What took 4 months and 2 lenders, she had them beat. She had us in our house within two weeks. We closed on our house with a low down payment. I highly recommend Angela and her team.

Kassandra Lawrence1I initially started working with Guild as a lender for my home mortgage in January 2018 however I decided to work with another lending company who provided better options and better rates. Guild initially refused to provide additional Mortgage options, stating I only qualified for 1 lender and refused to lock in a mortgage rate (even after I said I would pay a fee to do so.) After I met with another lender I learned otherwise (I qualified for other loan types and was able to lock in a rate.) I did attempt to work with Guild again however numbers they quoted me to obtain my business were different than when I received it all in writing. Then proceeded to tell me the new company I was working for was charging me too much ,etc. Then after I reviewed Guild’s quote, it was all the same, they just broke it down more. I felt I was given a run around and felt I was treated as if I should be lucky Guild approved me for a mortgage. When my credit score, etc is all approvable. Guild initially acted as if they were doing me a favor and as I am young/ was not knowledgeable they were not willing to provide additional options, etc. I had advised Guild in March 2018 that I did not wish to work with them, I stated if I changed my mind I would keep their company in mind. July 20, 2018 my realtor contacted Guild inquiring about my mortgage lock, now my realtor's mistake in doing so as I am no longer working with this company, he then verified with Guild via e-mail on 07/20/2018 that I am with a new lender. Guild went ahead and locked a mortgage rate and pulled my credit report on 7/24/18 without my consent. Guild is stating my realtor gave them consent which he did not. This company was very aggressive in contacting me on 7/24/18. As I was working I was unable to answer the three phone calls, text and multiple e-mails. Towards the end of my day I was able to respond to Guild stating I was working with a different lender. I then noticed they made a hard inquiry on my credit without my authorization and after I told them (March 2018 & my realtor advised on 7/20/18 I am with a new lender). As I was extremely upset with Amy Cardenas' team, my mom and I contacted Terry Heffner to discuss. After we explained the situation I was told that I was working with the wrong lender. I felt an attitude was given that as they pulled my credit, I should just now work with them on a loan. He was very sarcastic towards the end of the phone conversation and had no solution to provide for this error made by Guild. My mom then talked to Heffner (as I was upset) and he told her he "will never get these moments of (his) life back." He also told my mom “many girls would be jumping up and down if their credit score was that.” I have worked very hard for my credit score to become where it is and for him to pass judgement and say it’s fine, is not acceptable. It should not matter that Guild thinks its fine and Guild thinks its fine for me to not lock into a rate. These were not their decisions and they never cared to listen to my concerns or desires. I am still beyond upset that for a company I am not working with to pull my credit 2 months before my closing date which drops my credit score and they do not care. I understand I am still able to qualify for my loan, etc. However I wanted to have the best possible credit score to move forward with my mortgage. I am appalled how this company has treated me from Day 1 and then after telling them I do not wish to work with them and yet they still persisted. They are now stating they were trying to give me the best customer service. I feel they were trying to bully me into working with them after I told them no. Overall Guild tries to manipulate their clients into working with them, does not actually listen or do what their clients want and when found in error, they cannot admit this. What happened to the customer is always right? Apparently Guild obtains enough business they forget how to treat clients/customers.

Marissa Janney5Guild Mortgage was amazing to work with. Very helpful, informative, patient with several of our questions and concerns, etc. the list is endless. They are top notch on customer service. We will definitely use them for all our Idaho mortgage needs in the future. Our loan closed on time despite a few hiccups with the mobile notary beyond their control! Special thanks to Kellie Allen, Tia Matthews and Christine Ages. We highly recommend Guild Mortgage! Joana Johnson1If I can give this company a negative 10 stars, I would be very happy to do so. They don't really care about reaching out to you first before taking any action. My loan officer's name is Drew Mayes. He sent me a link to get started with guild i filled it out and didn't not complete my information as a primary applicant. Because I was under the impression that if I don't complete my employment history, they're not going to run our credit unless we had a talk and start from there. Like every lender, loan company does. Because that makes me ineligible to apply since i am the supposedly primary applicant. NOPE!! This company /loan officer is very irresponsible in handling his customer. You think is this just a small rant, nope! You never know how hard my husband and I work to rebuild his credit and for me to build my credit. This loan officer doesn't give 2 cents to actually have a discussion with you and talk about options they have for you before taking any action. Very irresponsible, disrespectfu, unprofessional and untrustworthy! I asked him to retract his inquiries on our credit through email. He didn't respond. My husband call their office and the lady wasn't helping at all and hearing a guy's voice talking to her at the same time in the background, i am suspecting it's Mr. Mayes.. Save yourself some stress and hearbreak. Don't go to this company.

Amanda Tsigonias1I was told to fill out a form on their website so they could figure out the best option for me (first time home buyer, just interested in buying in the future, needed to know how to prepare for buying). I stopped filling out the form when it asked for our social security numbers because I didn't want them to check my credit. I'm rebuilding my credit and don't want inquiries to lower my score. Denielle called me a couple days later and said she noticed I started the application but didn't finish it. I told her why. She assured me they would not check my credit. It was just so they could get an understanding of what I need and how they would be able to help me. So I finished filling out the form. The section where I put our socials, I checked the box that said "I do NOT give consent" for them to check my credit. Shortly after finishing the application, I got an alert from Credit Karma saying someone checked my credit and it lowered my score. It was a company called I R Anaheim. I called them and asked why they pulled my credit, and they told me they did the credit check for Guild Mortgage, and I would need to bring it up with them. So I've messaged Denielle AND Michelle Oliver about them illegally checking my credit report, but neither of them will reply. If they don't take care of this immediately, I will be taking further legal actions. P.S. Denielle, I have an app that records ALL my phone conversations. DON'T fill out the application if you don't want your credit checked! Even if you tell them not to and they say they won't, they will.
