Lisa5Blair handled our mortgage in a very professional and process oriented manner. Blair and his team made this a very smooth and stress free process. We would highly recommend Blair and Guild Mortgage to anyone who needs a loan. As a matter of fact, I already recommended my son to Blair. In closing, we would like to thank Blair and his team for a job well done! Ron & Lisa B.

Fyock Crucible5Blair handled my mortgage. He is so amazing. He treats everyone as a friend and does everything in his power to get what you need. One of his assistants that helped us was Amanda. She was also amazing. We would be able to text them or call them whenever we had any kind of question and they’d get back to us as quickly as they could. They worked with us every step of the way and made it such a pleasant experience despite the actual process being miserable. Lol. Had a lot of turbulence throughout the process but Blair and Amanda were wonderful to work with, and they even recommended us to our realtor and our realtor was the greatest ever.

Marion Neely5Erica Davis and her team with Guild Mortgage in Myrtle Beach were fantastic! They did an amazing job with the cash out refinance for our home remodel. Every thing went smoothly and quickly. Sharon Delaney made sure that we were up to date on the status of our loan throughout the entire process. They walked us through every step. Thank you!

John Pichey1Horrible experience. When I bought the house they had messed up the paperwork and I ended up having to sign the closing documents twice, which to everyone who knows, is a very tedious process of signing your name a thousand times and listening to every legal detail described in detail. They told me this had never happened and other than having to close on the house twice wasn't a huge deal the first go around. THEN COMES THE REFINANCE ATTEMPT. I was told I was locked into a 2.875 rate with closing cost at $3320. I was trying to refinance while rates were super low and wrongfully had faith with dealing with guild instead of many other companies I could have went with who promised to close twice as fast, but I stuck with who I knew. Well a month and a half later, longer then it would have taken to close with others, they send me a contract to sign at 3.25, not 2.875 they told me I was locked into, and closing at 4600. Then over 2 weeks past the 60 day closing time I was told it would take, they sent me another contract to sign which brought my closing cost up an additional 2600 dollars because they made another mistake on paperwork...familiar theme. I still don't understand how after signing contracts which should obligate both parties to abide by said agreement how they are able to say no pay me more than we already agreed upon or the deal is done. So now rates have gone upafter the 2.5 months it took them, and they lied and or messed up the process the entire way now i am stuck paying an additional 80,000 or so on interest that I shouldn't be. Go with another option cause this was a horrible 2.5 months that just set me up for 30 years of bitterness towards this company.

Michael J5Less than 30 days and we closed on our new home. Blair Anderson and his team are amazing. I’m so glad we found them. We had been to a larger lender. One I had banked with my entire life, for a VA home mortgage. After 3 weeks of run around the big bank treated us like the dung of the horses on their sign. That’s when we heard about guild. We had less than 4 weeks before losing our contract and the previous lender had not given us a preapproval. We called guild and within 24 hours we had a preapproval. Blair’s assistant Melinda stayed late that evening to complete our application as we had to give the seller the preapproval the very next day. Melinda did not stop until she had everything she needed to get the preapproval and was on the phone with us into the evening around 8. The next morning at 11 am she congratulated us on our preapproval and sent it to the agent. She is a jewel in the crown of Guild Mortgage. Then of course we went to underwriting for our VA mortgage. At this point we had Blair and Melinda working hard for us. To our surprise our processor Kimberly was equally as motivated and kind. Kimberly let us know what we needed and when we had to have it and all went smooth. That is not the usual when dealing with the VA you have triple the paperwork and if you miss anything well that’s another delay. Although they are very busy we were treated as their only customer. We could call any of the 3 or email and we got immediate response. We had an entire team who was dedicated to making sure we had every opportunity to get into our new home. All we had to do was get them what they ask for. We would definitely recommend Guild ( Blair and his team) to anyone who needs a home mortgage. You will truly feel you got the best product at the best price and even made friends along the way. You will not be in the dark about your process as you know every step they take. Thank you all for a wonderful experience. Your promise is to close on time and you did !!!!!!! We are so happy.

Claudia Trail5Max Neubauer was AWESOME! The mortgage process alone can be stressful. However, when you have someone like Max who is in your corner you don't need to worry. We did a long-distance purchase and his communication with us went above and beyond with the status of our home and the mortgage. When we first meet, Max set the expectations up front, on how he could help us and what documentation he would need from us to make the mortgage smooth. It is rare these days in business to find someone who is invested in you/your new home and making sure the process is smooth. I call it "Old School Values" Treat people the way would like to be treated! That's Max! We will definitely recommend Max to family, friends and colleagues!
