  I do not recommend this credit union at all. They will hold your funds as long as they can, and my other credit union suggested that what they are doing is possibly fraud. They held the funds from a cashiers check for 11 days, and they knew it was valid. Also, there is no call center during hurricanes. No help at all from 2 days before a storm until who knows how long after. Get your money out before hurricane season, or you might get stuck with no evacuation funds! UPDATE: After a week of GNO giving me the run around and not being able to fully or consistently explain why they were holding the funds, they released the full amount less than 12 hours after I wrote this review. It seems that they don’t have a system for releasing cashiers checks, and that it’s all up to whoever is working that day. That does not inspire confidence in a financial institution. I’d recommend choosing a different credit union.

  Ms. Javien Ramos assisted me today and she went above and beyond to help me! I went into GNO today hoping to set up a checking account and i left with so much more! She really took the time to help me out with my finances and was so patient and understanding. Wonderful and welcoming personality! Thank you Ms. Ramos and GNOFCU!:)

  I had the absolute best experience refinancing my mortgage at GNO. The process was so easy and was completed fast. The lady who helped me was so nice and explained everything so it made sense and the closing fees were so much lower than the big banks I got quotes from. I will definitely be bringing more of my business to GNO.

  By far one of the best credit unions in Metro NOLA. GNO PROACTIVELY takes care of it's members. The staff are always a pleasure to work with. I'd definitely recommend!

  bricked my card again, tried calling the 24 hour access line, and was told to go fxck myself because i couldn't speak with anybody. Told me to call during the business hours. How can you call yourselves a bank when you shut off cards for no reason and wont let people call and rectify the situation. Had an account here since 97. Will be moving my funds shortly. These people are ridiculous.

  I am very happy with this CU. They are very profesional. They helped me with all the process professionally with courtesy, diligence and he made sure that I understood the procedure. The loan officer Mr. Bradford helped me for days until it was all finalized. I cannot be thankful enough.

  The GNO FCU lending department made our mortgage financing quick, painless, and easier than our first time around with a different lender. Everything was disclosed to us up front and all without hidden fees or surprises. Overall was a great financial experience and I would definitely recommend GNO lending for all of your financial lending needs.

  I’m receiving HORRIBLE customer service from GNO on Canal Street. A lady named Patricia was supposed to fax a copy of a check I deposited to my bank for 2 days, and it still hasn’t been done. When I called to get it done, for the 4th TIME Patricia said she was on her break. I am extremely disappointed!!!!
