Great Western Bank Reviews

Holly Wood1I would not recommend this bank for employment or banking. This company is going through a culture change and is not ethical. When an employee has a better opportunity they become vindictive they pay some people out for a 2 week notice and others they treat differently they do not do the right thing. I have heard First hand the vindictiveness when an employee leaves the company. Upper management bullies and HR is even worse if your not a puppet you will not succeed with this company. I tried to leave on good terms but when I left they screwed me over I was shocked since I was a hard working loyal employee for 5 1/2 years. Run don’t walk away from this bank. They will say I’m a disgruntled former employee which is correct I tried leaving on great terms did everything I could to leave them in a good situation. Helped my boss remove me from security stuff and spent. 4 hours showing him what was done for the month. Then they chose to let me go early but not pay me which is not how banks handle this. I was loyal and would of stayed a customer but this bank has changed in the last 2 years and sadly will continue downhill. I cannot in good faith recommend this bank.

JTWO WELL1This review is for Great Western Banks in both Grand Island & Hastings, Ne. This bank just a bad place to do business with. Don't bank here at all. I did bank at Hastings, Ne , due to problems left that bank because of this. (Note: this bank sent me letter threatening me to remove review. )
Response from the ownerThank you for acknowledging that you received our letter to Cease and Desist any of your misguided efforts to disparage the Bank and our employees. We again deny that the Bank has engaged in any wrongdoing with respect to you. Your complaint is a personal matter that does not involve the Bank.

Kacie Miller1There is no customer relationship. I feel they don't care about my money. They are finding all and any reason to take a fee!!!! And my account would bounce high to low to high to low then negative and all the charges that go with it!!!!
