David Walker5Should have wrote a review some time ago. I switched both our personal and corporate accounts to Great Western about a year ago. Everything has gone smoothly. Their website and Android apps are awesome, the staff is great and they don't mess with our money (arbitrary holds on funds, unexpected service fees). The best thing about Great Western is I can manage both my personal and business accounts from the same app.

Deb M3Not open Saturday anymore and not open late 1 night a week makes it hard for those of us who work in the city to do walk in business with them. They need to be open 1 night a week to 7pm.

Amanda Zarzynski5Honestly, I love this bank. I love all of the employees. They’re so friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Once, after leaving there my son asked “Is that girl your friend?” He asked because she was so kind and friendly. He said we were talking like we are friends. Truth be told- it feels like we are! The staff is incredible and I enjoy my trips to the bank because of them.

Timothy Curtis2I have a business bank account with you guys. I’m however not very happy with you. Nothing showed in account from $70 promised in refund of overdraft fees. I’ll give it a day. Thank you. I know your bank has rules and you need to go by them. Not upset at any of you. I am a bit disappointed in Bank itself though. I had fraudulent charges from Apple go through my account if over $400. I disputed it only to hear the bank say I need to dispute it with merchant. I contact Apple and they said there wasn’t anything they could do. I’m now pursuing an android phone. I left my bank alone until dispute is over (I have a different bank account with another institution) and I see 4 charges from mdg Leaving my account negative on a weekend, which those charges were supposed to go through on a Monday. I send money to the account same day to cover negative balance before 8pm. Then I’m hit with $140 in insufficient funds fees and told that 4pm was deposit cut off time instead of 8pm (most all banks are 8pm). I don’t 100% trust the security or respect your bank has for its customers anymore. I will keep using you only to process checks because I like the staff but I do not like the Bank! JKILLAZ5I always feel welcomed here and the staff bring a smile to my face every time. So glad I started banking with them and felt so relieved to ditch wells fargo. I am always surprised at how fast and thorough they are with service. 10/10 would recommend.

specialty pest5I own Specialized Pest Control and I wouldn’t trust any other bank to handle my money. Great Western Bank has been the most friendly bank in Maricopa. They don’t have a drive thru atm which bites but they are friendly and courteous. They do have a drive up window during open hours and 24hour walk up atm. Not the greatest neighborhood around it but it’s improving. I won’t change banks. I’ve had every bank in town and non holds to the level of customer service great western bank has. 🙂👍

Andre Ferguson1This place is lacking in so many areas. The clue that should not have opened an account here was that they were giving away money to open it however, I went on three occasions and no one was ever available to open the account. When I did get the account open (determined because it was close to my home), they offered me to seek a loan. I decided okay. I took the papaerwork home and completed it the next day. Never heard back from them. Then months later when withdrawing money the teller said oh you have loan paperwork to sign. I was confused. That was over 3 months ago. Then I say no thank you. Then my card was never mailed out. They changed their debit cards because the chip. I received my card from the other banks just not GW B. They say it's coming months go by. They have the wrong address. I updated months ago and showed the email I sent and their response back. Oh, they say. Then another card was issued. That took about 3 weeks. I followed up again. They then overnight the card. The last straw. I have an over draft ok no problem, I earned and understand that. However they took the fee plus a $10 daily charge. They claim it was for five consecutive days overdrawn. That's weird but I get paid weekly and it's direct deposit. I spoke with another incompetent individual named Megan who says yeah that is at every bank she has ever worked at too. She again, did not offer a solution or courtesy. I strongly would not recommend this bank. When I speak with travelers on a daily basis at the airport and they say they are moving to the area. I will make it a top priority to say welcome to Arizona you will love it and the people I. It. Just do not bank with Great Western Bank. Worse bank in the state. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!

Björn Thomas5Although I do not currently bank here, I was pleasantly surprised at how kind the staff were... they were down to earth people & seemed very knowledgeable... I was offered a checking account or savings as an option... but it did not feel like a high pressure sale... I am happy with my bank, & only visited this location for a friend, if I ever have a bad experience with my bank, this would be my first choice for an alternative
