  The Gold Mine Pawn shop was very helpful in assisting me with the purchase of some silver coins and bullion. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the prices were very fair. I go there fairly often to buy ammo as well, and you'll find the same fair treatment as well.

  Excellent staff providing friendly one on one help including arms and training tips. Great selection of arms and hunting items. Jewelry cases. And an indoor range with a list of paid instructors. Christian local ownership.

  Staff is real friendly, and easy to work with. Prices are always good. Bought my first two guns there, and will continue to shop there.

  Been doing business here for years but if it’s not guns and gold they low ball you and it feels a bit offensive when they won’t take things that are precious to you that cost a fortune! Other than that they have no competition in this small town so they can do what they want and I think they aren’t aware of the extent of the microchip shortage so you can get a steal on game consoles when they have them

  Staff is rude and unprofessional. Stopped in about 4 months ago and was treated to some surprisingly terrible customer service. Decided to give it another shot thinking maybe it was just a bad day for that girl; unfortunately it seems this behavior is just standard operating procedure. Staff aside, they have a decent handgun and accessories selection. Good place to go if you are looking for a wide selection of holsters and accessories and do not care how the counter treats you.

  Hi Thomas, I do appreciate our customers and are concerned about the quality of customer service in our business. However, in the past months, we have been overwhelmed with the demands for product and lack of availability. Add to this the dramatic increase in traffic in the store. This makes for a lack of time per customer and we have always tried to provide excellent customer service in less trying times. When we have a store full of people, for us to get to YOU, we have to cut short a conversation with someone else. While busy is not being rude, personality clash is a factor. Tom Hand

  Been to the Goldmine Pawn many times over the years and always had a pleasant experience and bought a good bit of merchandise even tho many things could have been purchased cheaper elsewhere. I traded at Goldmine Pawn because Tom the owner and his employees have been friendly and knowledgeable. However today’s experience was far under par. I was attempting to transfer ownership of a gun my friend no longer wanted, during the process my friend tried to get clarification on a question being asked on the questionnaire from an employee. Another employee mistakenly thought he was asking me and very rudely started a dissertation on how we couldn’t be discussing the forms. I explained we weren’t that he was only asking for clarification. Instead of stopping or apologizing she kept on becoming even more forceful. I asked her to please be more pleasant when she expressed herself. At this the young gentleman waiting on us went off and said they were married and tore up everything. To let a misunderstanding get that far out of hand was unfortunate and immature. The owners were obviously not present. So sorry to lose one of my favorite places!

  Mr Tubbs, If there were any way to publish security footage on here, we would. When the owner returned to the store, he was made aware of the situation and shredded the paper himself, I did not tear up anything. During the process of assisting you and your friend, we agreed to do extra paperwork just to give you the customer service you are accustomed to here, and during that process you were instructed numerous times to direct your questions to an employee, not your friend. When a young female employee became more insistent you and your friend following these federal guidelines, you began to berate that employee on her method of instruction. Had it been left at that, we would have continued to help you. However, you continued by throwing your pen on the counter only to continue your harassment of our employee moments later. At that point we politely refunded your money and repeatedly told you to have a good day. Considering you even offered to apologize to our employee, you obviously knew you were in the wrong in some way, shape, or form. We are not in the business of turning people away, and we do hate that we lost a customer. But, our employees deserve the same respect you do. Again, we hope you have a good day.

  Great shop. Excellent people. Amazing service. They offer more parts, pieces and paraphernalia than most actual 'rifle stores' Ive been to. Possibly any rifle store. Calling them a pawn shop is an understatement.

  I have spend lots of money here but will never spend a dime there again. The women there are extremely rude and think they know far more than they do . I will be happy to pay the high prices of Bass Pro shop and be treated better there. For Gods sake go somewhere else and be treated like a valuable customer. These people have a God complex

  Our 39 year old business would not be around today if we treated our customers like you describe. We do not have a "god complex", however we do know what is right and what is wrong. Without more context it would be hard to go deeper into what happened, but I can assure you we have more knowledge that most places around, especially the big box stores you mentioned.   At least one of the female employees needs to be trained to know the difference between fine and fake diamonds. I needed to borrow enough to pay a bill this past Monday and the lady that waited on me informed me that my 1.25 Carat miner's cut diamond ring wasn't real and suggested that maybe I should go sell it to the jeweler that told me that it was ha! I left there very annoyed and went to the competitor down the road and was offered $1000 by the owner as soon as I walked through the door if I was interested in selling it. He looked at it for about 10 seconds and knew the value. I was still not interested in selling but I did borrow exactly what I needed and thanked him for his knowledge and interest. I'm not one to complain but she really made me mad. I left there feeling insulted. No customer should ever leave a business feeling that way. How can I walk into one shop and they not even offer the value of the gold in a ring and the other shop offer me $1000 cash if I would sell? Crazy..
