  Being a first-time home buyer I of course had LOTS of questions. Mattie was very patient and made sure to explain everything in a way that I could understand. She was very knowledgeable and great at explaining the whole process and communicating with me through each step. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy a home!

  First off I want to say “thank you Mattie” We had some things I had to work through to make everything happen. I had really no clue what this process looked like. It was wonderful to have someone that cared about getting things taken care of and explained through the entire process. Sarah helped explain things and was very encouraging with the final details.   We refinanced our home mortgage and the process was seamless. Mattie Thompson helped us to efficiently get things done without constantly asking for more info like others have in the past. She sent updates to let us know where we were in the process. We had one phone call where she summed it all up and it was actually a pleasant experience!

  If I could give zero stars, I would. Last year, I lost both my parents, I live out of state and it's been difficult to arrange things for the estate sales, and the sale on the home. I had an amazing realtor that went above and beyond to help with everything. This mortgage company represented the buyer and did nothing but make inconsiderate demands on time and efforts, No matter our realtor's amazing efforts, it was never fast enough or good enough for their immature demands and tantrum-like emails. Gershman delayed getting paperwork, but yet demanded my attorney and I immediately stop everything, sign, and overnight paperwork back at my expense. There were no 'please' and 'thank you's', and just simple rudeness. If you're a buyer, use them! They will get the job done and they don't care how they treat the sellers- with no consideration and respect. If you're the seller, be ready to be belittled, disregarded, and disrespected.

  Gershman mortgage exceeded our expectations beyond measure. Working with Sarah took the stress out of becoming a first time home owner. She was always available for any questions we came up with and happy to answer them as crazy as they may have seemed. Beyond grateful for all their help!
