  Ashley in the customer service department is extremely helpful and efficient! I found I had an account missing on my online banking and had a few issues with another account. She had all my problems fixed promptly! She was also very kind and answered any questions I had! I will definitely be using her in the future for any of my customer service needs!

  I refinanced my home with First State Bank this spring. Chris Holdenrid made the process so easy. I am finally out of the stressful mortgage I had with my previous lender . No more payment fluctuations according to family size or number of hours worked. The fixed rate mortgage with First State Bank cut my interest and payment literally in half.   If your looking for good and honest bankers and lenders, do yourself a favor and go anywhere but First state bank. Don't trust them with your money, since banking with them I've had repeated bank errors here hundreds of dollars from my paychecks would disappear. Only after long disputes did I ever get my lost money back.

  Used to be a customer but switched to Capital One for checking and now I'm closing my savings with them. This is a small town bank without a lot of knowledgeable staff. Go somewhere else.
