  Banker that assisted me didn’t greet me nor did she thank me or ask if I needed anything else once she was done. I had to ask if that was all to know our transactions were done. I know I don’t fit the “Walnut Creek” profile, but my money spends the same. I passed many financial institutions on my way to Walnut Creek from Vallejo. They all offer business services. We don’t have to bank there. The least she could have done was say “How can I help you.” Or “Thank you for coming in.”

  I am likely going to close my account here. Caroline was slow and incompetent ( I had to come back in to remind her I didn't yet have my debit card or checks) and now, 2 months after opening the account I still don't have my checks. Additionally, the student loan re-finance application is misleading. They will tell you 10% liquidity of the outstanding balance is recommend for a better rate, but it's actually a requirement. They're also likely to take weeks to tell you this. Avoid the empty sales pitch of "relationship-based" banking. It's a sham.

  I love this branch! I've been with them since they changed the name from Bank of Walnut Creek to First Republic. Love my girl Cea!

  Fantastic personable service. This is how banks should be ran. Cea is such a delight my daughters (2 and 8) beg to go to the bank with me.
