  I'm from Oklahoma and I have had the pleasure of being a member of First NRV Union for 5 years. The credit union has worked with me on numerous occasions with my financial needs and have great perks for members which I really appreciate and enjoy.   My husband and I recently relocated to the New River Valley from New Hampshire. We were looking for a full-service credit union, when we came across First NRV Credit Union. From our initial outreach to open our savings and checking, to our application process for our mortgage, the process has been seamless. We have since signed up for debit cards as well as their online banking and bill pay services, which makes our banking experience even easier! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend First NRV Credit Union!

  I have been a Customer for over 20 years. I'm completely satisfied with the friendly and personal service they always provide to me and my wife. They have always taken care of my wife and I when we needed financial assistance. All of the people that work there are polite, friendly, courteous and professional! That is something you don't find very often in today's society. I highly X 2 recommend First NRV Credit Union, Radford, VA. I can't say enough about their excellence!

  For many years we used one of the "big national banks" for our primary checking and savings. A few years ago, they closed all of the local branches in our area and now our nearest branches are over 90 miles away. This was fine most of the time since we do the majority of our banking online. However, every time we needed something out of the ordinary, it involved negotiating a painfully obtuse automated system, followed an ad-filled 20 minute wait on hold to speak to someone on the phone. Or a two hour trip to a distant branch. We finally decided to move those accounts to First NRV FCU and are glad we did. Now when we call, a friendly, helpful person always answers the phone. When we need to visit in person, it's only 5 minutes away. We're earning way more interest than we were, and we have more fee-free ATMs available across the US. We wish we'd made the move to First NRV sooner!

  Best local bank around Radford. I opened a free checking and savings account with overdraft protection which is amazing. they treat you like a human being and not like a number. I would highly recommend this bank love them!

  One could not ask for better service , fast service, honest answers, low loan rates, flexibility, friendliness, and an all round great experience was witnessed. I have been with 1st NRVCU about 10 years and never had the opportunity to test their competitive nature until I just closed on a refi on our home and had researched long and hard before making an easy decision to go with them. You rock fellow members!

  Very good place to bank or get loans.......I applied for an auto loan last week Juanita got me approved really fast, was very professional and helpful. I would recommend First NRV Credit Union to everybody.
