The auto loan I got through them was entirely fine. Good interest rate, and easy to finalize. The problem I face now is a tarnished credit report because of a simple mistake on their part that they told me would be corrected, but never was. Recently speaking to their ‘collections department’ was as frustrating as it was unhelpful. They said my only recourse was to dispute it with the credit agencies and note why the mark is disputed. Then they could Decide to return my call via the dispute paperwork. They’re obviously far too busy to offer a customer 10minutes of their time. I’ll never return here.

This is an excellent ag loan bank with an amazing staff, interest rate, and customer service. My calls are answered in a very timely manner and I have yet to hang up or walk away displeased. I think their online services are easy to use as is their app and my financial information easily transfers into my quicken account.

      Response from the owner

I've only had one experience with this bank. I tried to open a checking account with, admittedly, not much money. The teller treated me like dirt when she saw my check and pawned me off to a loan officer. The loan officer was ok. But, I was so off-put by the teller, I decided to take my business elsewhere. It gets 2 stars because the lobby was super clean and inviting.

      Response from the owner

Hello, we're sorry to hear of your negative experience with us. Our loan officer do open all our accounts, so our teller was simply following protocol. We've passed along this message to the appropriate individuals. Thank you for your feedback about our lobby and our service.

Horrible banking with people with even worse customer service. Save yourself an enourmous amount and pick a different bank. Took them a week to get back to me when I was told it would take days, and the excuse was that the manager didn’t have time. Horrible excuses. The south location is even worse than the north, the drive through blonde needs an enourmous attitude adjustment. She’s crude. Over- all with all of the ups and downs ive had at this bank in the last couple years 2/5.

      Response from the owner

Hi Shelbe, we're truly terribly sorry to hear of your negative experience with us. Thank you for sharing your feedback. We've passed along this message to the appropriate individuals. Please know, we value your membership!

Awful service. This bank makes it impossible to bank. We were charged several fees after fraudulent activity and zack, the president of operations, telling us there's nothing they could do. Also melissa the local bank manager in town was very snippy and inappropriate. There was also an instance were we were stuck trying to pay our grocery shopping bill because the bank had put a hold on our account. We attempted to call the 1800 number as it was after hours. The number told us that the social security number on file wasn't matching the one we were using to unlock our account. Went in person The next day to the bank to figure out what was going on, when we signed up for our account they had put in our social security number incorrectly. Out of all things to get wrong, our social? Very irresponsible. After all of this we decided to pay off our loans in cash, so we didn't have to deal with this horrid bank any longer, we were told that we couldn't do that and we'd have to do a different type transaction causi g us to be charged interest every day until this different type of transaction was complete. I'd highly reccomend going to any other bank in town over fccu. Having an orrangotang manage your money would be more optimal than fccu.

If you have to, you have to, but honestly, go to the bank of North Dakota or even Wells Fargo before here. They do everything they can to nickle and dime you. It's a credit union. They're suppose to fight for us, and be on our side, but for some reason they have this mentality that they're better than you. They're suppose to fine and punish you for not using your money right. They're charging for inactive accounts now, and they're still not going to do anything for you. I regret banking with them. Also, if you have to talk to them, i hope you enjoy hearing their verbal vomit about this and that making you money, saving you money, etc etc.

I will never work with this bank again. I tried calling for basic information after I moved out of state. They cant give me any info over the phone to start online banking or even to change my address. It's not like I can just come back and talk to them in person. The whole process will take weeks by mail. The whole thing is VERY upsetting.

      Response from the owner

Hi Sarah, we're sorry to hear this negative feedback. For security purposes, there are proper procedures we have to follow and certain information we are unable to give over the phone. Is there a better way to follow up with you to resolve this issue? Thank you for your feedback.
