  My boyfriend and I just moved out of state, as first time home buyers. None of that would have been possible without Melissa’s help! She went through hoops to ensure our loan with First Bank and Trust. Where other banks could not accommodate our unique situation. Melissa worked me every step of the way, and got us to closing within a month! I’m so happy we chose a local bank for our mortgage, and more happy I chose Melissa who delivered everything promised right on time.

  Best bank in Wise County. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. They dont charge their customers to have an account or use their services like a lot of banks in our area. Every time I walk through the door they seem genuinely glad to help me. There's a couple other banks in our area that act like you just ruined their day by walking through their doors.

  This is a great bank. They don't have any fees or anything for a checking account, the customer service is great. I once was given a check for a business trip, which looked just like the direct deposit slips from my employer at the time, so therefore I assumed the money was in my account (was young and dumb haha) so therefore my account overdrafted causing some overdraft fees. When I explained the situation to the teller she was quick to reverse the fees that I incurred due to my error. I'm sure that is something most banks wouldn't do. Money always deposits quickly, never had any holds or anything. Been with them almost 4 years, hope to be with them many more!

  Staff refused to help me cash a check from my mother to go and get my stranded friend from Georgia. She is currently starving and I can’t come back until Monday.

  I’ve been here since it was First Commonwealth, great then and great now. Staff helps no matter what the issue is. I wouldn’t bank anywhere else!

  Everytime I call to transfer money it never gets transferred its so aggravating especially when they do it on the weekend 🙄
