Financial Center First Credit Union Reviews

Rhiannon Stavroules2Noone answers the phone you are on hold forever. You can't pay extra on your auto loan to pay it off early they just put it into a savings and don't tell you until you get a notice that you owe less and call to find out why. I love the classes and being able to earn extra money every4 months. Plus the save to win account is nice but wasn't told that you can't withdrawal from it until it matures until after opening the account.

Tyler Lewis1If I could have selected no stars at all that’s what I would have done. I truly wish I would have went to another bank. I would not recommend anyone to any of their branches!. I get have my payroll check from my employer directly deposited into my account every week and my funds are never available on time. Some weeks I may get my funds Friday at 11pm and there has been other times that I did not receive my funds until the fallowing day and my employer sends payroll in every Tuesday. I have never had this problem before and actually would get my funds early sometimes up to 2 days early. I just got a tax return sent to my account as well and it was sent to my acount last week and my funds are still not in my account Yeah on the IRS agent says if funds are not available by the six call your bank, so I call and they are trying to say that the account and routing number I used are wrong “remind you I use these same account and routing number every week for my payroll check to be sent to” and I also use the slip that they gave me with this info printed on it when I initially opened my account. When I told them this The lady responded “well I don’t know what to tell you then, it must have been a error on our end but if you don’t need anything else regarding your account then have a good day cause I can not do nothing for you! So guys Please just save your self a headache and go else where This review is not for this particular branch beings I go to the one in greenwood on the corner of (Emerson and Main Street)

Angel T5Let me share with you, my wife and I never had a credit established before, ever! So, we wanted to start doing this. My wife applied for a credit card with $500 limit (almost nothing, right?) with her bank (one of those big giant banks) and I applied the same with Financial Center. My wife (American since she was born here) with 15 years banking history with the big bank was declined because "No credit established" (that's why she applies!!!). On the other side, I'm naturalized citizen banking with this credit union only for about 3-4 years was approved! So, what we did and everybody should do is close his bank account with those giant non-sense money hungry banks and open one instead with this credit union. Just ask for AMANDA and I personally guarantee you will be pleased. Believe me, once you walk in here, you will forget the rest! Rest assured, I'm not joking. You can thank me later. Cheers!

Dave Land1This review is for FCFCU in general - not this location. I have an auto loan with them and I have to say this is the WORST financial experience I've ever had. Sure they gave me the loan, but I almost wish they didn't. Their website is pathetic - like a failure from the '90's. Customer service resolves nothing...but they also agree their website is terrible! Then they start sending me late notices. My account isn't late. This goes on for months - even after talking with customer service. Now they've indicated my account is late to the credit bureaus. Just the icing on the cake. I'll be paying this off ASAP and never using FCFCU again. I'd recommend you avoid them also.

Mandy Cothron2Open at 10am on Saturday- at least that’s what their website and the sign on the door says. I was there on Saturday around 10:30 door were locked and no one in the building. If your hours have changed at least update your information!!

Brittany Y2I've always been a fan of credit unions, but this one I'm not pleased with the experience at all. Moved and hadn't updated my address immediately and I'm (not that it should matter since I have electronic statements) charged $5.00 for a "bad address". Savings account must have $100 at the end of each month or you're charged $3 for each month without. Slow processing for funds to be available through bank, which results in overdraft fees of non-refundable $33.

Bob Dickerson1Was helped today by an apparent teller-in-training, on what the young lady observing him explained was a "vacation day" promotion. He was wearing a faded black V neck t-shirt, very wrinkle shorts, and an extremely faded and old baseball cap. Not what I would have expected from a professional financial institution that I have been associated with for more than 40 years. When asked if he could help me, I presented a check reorder form, a check, and my ID. I told him I would like to cash the check. After he entered the info to reorder checks, he said "you just want to deposit this check?" I said no, I still want to cash it for two hundreds, a ten, four ones and the change. He proceeded to count out two hundred dollars in tens, and when he was finished, I said that is not what I requested, and explained again how I wanted the cash. I would hope that the trainer helped him, after I left, by explaining how "listening skills" are important in assisting their customers.

Krys Holtsclaw1This business is a dirty, money-grabbing, dishonest disgrace. I will tell anyone that wants to listen our personal story or regret. Do NOT get any loans or use accounts with them. Everyone I know that has used this company has been ripped-off, neglected, or been given the 3rd degree. Horrible, horrible experience from trusting this company.
