  I have been a member of this credit union since I was a child. I'm talking 50 years. I have never had a bad experience and the staff has always been friendly and very helpful. I wish more establishments would model this organization and the friendly employee's. They represent what customer service means.

  Fieldstone is one if the best credit unions in Kankakee County. They provide phenomenal customer service, they have great rates on loans and credit cards and go above and beyond in our community. If you are looking for a bank who is family friendly and meets your banking needs. From mortgages to a simple savings I would definitely recommend them.

  Other than our cards being compromised a few times it's a decent bank. They could put more than one employee in the drive thru to take care of 6 cars though and answer the phone once in awhile

  Worst Service Ever HANDS DOWN!!!! I have only once received good service from this place. Most of the women there act as if they personally own this Credit union. They are very rude and snobby. I’m very curious as to where all of these very nice reviews come from.

  I can not stand this place OR THEIR TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I lost my debit card Ann had gone in and told them I needed a new one ordered 2 days BEFORE thanksgiving. They said it would take 2 weeks. Okay that's fine. 2 weeks goes by and they tell me just give it a few more days because the holiday. I again said okay. Then go in 4 days later just for them to tell me is HAS NOT even been ordered yet!!!! So they tell me they are going to rush it and that it should be here within a couple days. My card still isn't here and now they tell me they once again DID NOT put the rush so I have to just wait til it comes in the mail!!!

  This place feels like they are entitled to a 300% return by charging a $30.00 insufficient fund fee if you overdraft $0.01 in your account. Now tell me, how does it make since to charge someone that has no money more money to make their account go further in the negatives. Smh let's not forget banks have always been the problem in this country and they still are the single biggest group of greedy, money hungry thieves, In today's modern America. I'm ready for bitcoin to take over so that all these moronic bank employees will fall to their face from their high horses. Horrible experience every time I deal with someone from this credit union. Btw I work in the financial industry have many friends that work for bigger banks and have yet to be treated like I have by this tiny loan shark of an office called feildstone credit union. Closing out account this week.

  We are sorry that you felt the $30.00 NSF fee was excessive. According to a 2018 BankRate survey, the average NSF is $33.23, and the most common NSF fee is $35.00. Our rate is 14% below the national average.

  If you're self employed I wouldn't advise going to this bank. They have no idea how to read the tax forms. I applied for a car loan and I wrote off my truck which is legal to do. Yet they are trying to tell me the truck payment came out of my net income. I had my tax lady send several documentation over and they still couldn't figure it out. I've never been treated so unfairly.

  Showed money was in my account. Withdrew the money and now my account is in the negatives. I asked why my account was in the negatives when it showed the money was in my account and received the answer of, "our systems are down at that time". I banked here for over 3 years and not once was told that their systems are down at night. So now because of their mistake I have to pay back money that was in my account. The teller also laughed when I confirmed that I had to pay the money back for their mistake.

  Brittany, I am sorry that you had this problem. For any institution, the best way to determine what is truly available to you is never to go by the balance shown on a phone app, ATM terminal, or phone banking screen, but rather to keep a continuously balanced check register. When that is updated for each transaction, and balanced to the statement every month, it should be completely accurate.

  I have been banking with Fieldstone for a long time. I have had several loans through them as well. Friendly service and great rates. Love this bank!
