I hate this bank. Once my loan is finished I’m closing everything. I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER recommend them. Back in September before my birthday. I needed a new card and they said it would take 7 to 10 business days to get it. It had been over 17 days I still hadn’t received my card but only received my PIN number which came 16 days late. I called and asked for it to b over nighted and was told NO they don't provide that service. I'm fed up with Fed Choice I'm taking my money to navy Federal. Now it December and I just got my card and guest what. I can not activate the card cause it’s deactivated. Wow just wow. If you can don’t do it stay AWAY FAR AWAY.

Been a member going on two years, and they're fantastic. I didn't need it, but they offered very low rate loans during the shutdown. Frump shut gov down for over a month, with two missed pay days, and FedChoice was there saying we'll loan you a paycheck. That meant a lot. They're a good CU.

Some of the staff is very knowledgeable. However, the fact that it will take them 7-10 business days to replace my debit card after it was compromised, the fact they have absolutely no "after hours" help with fraud (that is, anytime between 4:30pm and 8:30am most days), and that they sometimes notify you about potential fraud I would reconsider about making this your bank. I am looking for a new bank now. UPDATE (10/10/17): Still looking for a new bank. After finding out this weekend that my ATM card PIN was not working, I learned today that a credit union software update was to blame. My PIN still works supposedly. They didn't notify me that I might have a problem by email, text or voicemail - even though they have my contact info. The only phone call I've gotten from them is about this review....interesting.

The worst bank ever. I needed a new card and they said it would take 7 to 10 business days to get it. It has been 17 days I have yet to c my card and just a day ago recieved my PIN number. I have called asked for it to b over knighted and NO they don't provide that service. I'm fed up with Fed Choice I'm taking my money to navy Federal.

Be prepared to waste time with this bank. If you go in to the branch, representatives take your information and say they will call you back, but never do. Be prepared for a 20 to 30 minute wait to reach a representative by phone for any assistance. Altogether time consuming. Also, keep an old fashioned pen and paper handy because they are disorganized with keeping record of your transactions. Transactions show up in your account and then disappear. Then representatives tell you that charges have gone through but it is not reflected in your records. A very disorganized and confusing banking experience.

On 8/13/18 I spoke with Cathy in the call center. She answered and didn’t sound friendly at all and seemed completely annoyed by my call. Cathy assured me that my account had a courtesy pay function active on the account. I attempted to make a payment and the function didn’t work so I called Cathy back to correct the problem. Cathy again insisted that there was nothing wrong with my account and so I believed what she said and went back to work. After work, however, just as I suspected my courtesy pay still did not work leaving me with no money for gas to get to work the next day. I wanted to make sure that if anyone reached out to his bank, that they do not work with a woman at the call center named Cathy. She is unkind and doesn’t work to assure that your needs are properly taken care of. Ask for a manager if you are the next unfortunate person to have to ask her for help with your account. This bank needs to do better with their customer service and will lose customers as a result.

This rating is for their mobile deposit. There was a software glitch in it that withdrew funds from my parents account and left them with a zero balance. I spent a week calling them and one guy said he would call me back and never did to try and help me with my issue. If you use mobile deposit, I would only do it for small checks like $100 or so.

So my debit card had fraudulent activity so i call and of course they have the worst after hours help. So after going back and forth with a automated system i finally got a actual person. So finally i got them to freeze my card and then they tell me 7-10 days to get another card.( Wow 7-10 days)... Fedchoice is so outdated .. the online app is pointless can do anything on it.

I once had an account with fed choice. I used the Atm one evening to deposit cash $200 for some reason the Atm didn't register the transaction. The next day I went to the bank and was told I didn't do any deposit I showed them the receipt they still didn't believe me. My money was gone and the branch manager didn't do anything to reimburse me I had to close the account. I will never ever refer anyone to fed choice ever. They have very dishonest employees

Practically in the Stone Age. They send email notifications for some things but not for others. They don’t seem to have any fraud detection surveillance at all (unlike some of the bigger banks/credit card companies). This resulted in a huge headache for me, and it could have been avoided if I’d gotten an email alert right away, instead of having to find out later when something was wrong with my statement. They’re not keeping up with other online banking services, and their interest rates are low anyway. Basically, there is nothing to recommend them, and you should take your money elsewhere.
