  Once i found these guys few years back about 6years actually and im from an hour away. I dont deal with nobody else..there always fair and ive bought tools from them and ive sold them things when i was in medical need...its been a year since ive been back but my dad and i both want to make stop soon and look around!! I enjoy the store

  AWESOME! Such trust-worthy people. Always make great deals on things they have in the store. They always have awesome items there you can purchase. Give highest prices on gold & silver. Also have layaway. All around the best pawn shop I have ever been to!

  The gentleman who seemed to be the owner was very helpful and friendly. A friend from out of town was in a jam and looking for a very short term loan and he did everything he could to help out. Doesn't seem to be many pawn shops in this part of PA and of the few there are I can't imagine any being as friendly and helpful as this place. Any of the shops we spoke with or stopped into were not only not helpful, they were arrogant in demeanor and downright rude. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Their inventory was diverse in nature and price point was more than reasonable. I cannot say enough positive aspects of this locally owned business. Very appreciative of them!

  I can't imagine how anyone could have a poor experience here. I went in for the first time yesterday as I was in need for some quick cash. After explaining my situation to Paul, who I believe is the owner, he went out of his way and did everything to help me get through a difficult time. While what I had didn't yield the amount I needed his offer was more than fair. Today I stopped in again and asked him for a favor which wasn't an ordinary request and he again helped me. Most places wouldn't even consider my offer but Paul, sympathetic to my situation, went out of his way to help me through this difficult time. I can't thank Paul or the people at Fat Pocket enough. Needless to say they have a customer for life. Additionally I would never hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. While in the shop, browsing their inventory I saw tons of great deals and can't wait to come back once I get paid. Thank you Fat Pocket for helping me through a difficult situation!

  Website says they deal with gold and silver and the site says to call with any questions. Called twice to ask if they have any gold and/or silver. Got hung up on both times for no clear reason. Originally thought the first time was a mistake, after the second I just realized that’s how they do business. Weird.

  NEVER shop here. All the 1 star reviews are perfectly accurate. The owners (fat guy that limps, and his ginger minion aka the genetic mistake all the other 1 star reviews also despise ) super shady. They straight prey on poor people in the community, talk about their customers the minute they leave, and have zero business owning a business. Any review over 2 stars reads like a paid advertisement, ny famiky and freinds. Its obvious they are fake, atleast they resd like they are. 30 bad reviews cant all be wrong....youve been warned. You would get more use of your used items chucking them in the river than you will from the laughable offers they make. If you want to donate your stuff to people that treat customers and people fallen on hard times like trash, this is the place for you.

  I can honestly say that all these reviews are absolutely spot on. When I went in there the walk around the head of Makita cordless drill used fair condition with one battery and the charger no case. He wanted $150 and would not budge on the price. I went back 3 days later to sell Makita impact cordless drill with a battery ,case and charger. In it was in almost new condition Barely Used. When I walked in the door and set it on the counter he said those aren't worth anything I'll give you fifty bucks for it, so I said there's a gentleman you have the same drill except for mines impact and yours is just a regular drill and you're selling it for $150. He just walked away started mumbling under his breath to his other employees. You should really be reported to the Better Business Bureau because he is completely ripping people off. I have witnessed him buying stuff cash without taking ID or anything which obviously means it was a shady deal. But that's just my opinion.
