  Abigail was absolutely incredible. She made things very clear and easy for my fiancée and I purchasing our first home. We honestly never thought it was going to be possible the way the market is at the moment. She steered us in the right direction and got the cost to what we were comfortable. She worked side by side with our realtor and executed professionally answering all emails and phone calls we bombarded her with. She really cared about us finding a home and helped us with the whole process. She even came to the closing appointment with me and made me feel so comfortable as she new I was a stressful mess. I wouldn’t do this process with anyone else. Absolutely incredible person to go to if you are looking to buy a home.   I’ll preface by saying that I shopped around for mortgages in the Boston area. I ended up working with Craig Barber at Fairway Independent Mortgage for my first home mortgage. Not only was Craig able to help answer all my questions, he and his team worked relentlessly to get me to closing in less than 30 days with a very competitive offer in the market.   I'm a veteran and recently closed using a VA loan with Craig and his team. Craig gave me a better rate than Veterans United and I also ended up saving around $4,000 in closing costs. His team was an absolute delight to work with and made the entire process a breeze. For example I was stunned when Veterans United physically sent us an absolute mound of paperwork to fill out - with Fairway it was pre-filled out, available online, and we were able to digitally sign. Particular to the VA loan, the listing agent screwed up our Tidewater response by providing two comp properties outside of range, and one with a close date after the appraisal date, so all three were disqualified by the VA. Craig filed a Reconsideration of Value for us within hours, which ultimately came back successful. And even though the VA responded at the absolute last minute, just days before our close date, Craig and his team were able to redo our paperwork in time. As a result I'm sitting in my new house writing this, and my wife and I are so thrilled. Thank you so much!

  Quick smooth and painless was the process . Brian and the Fairway team work hard to provide the best services and mortgage packages available. I wasted a whole year with a bank just to come up short time and time again, which resulted in me missing out on numerous properties. Fairway sucessfully completed what the others failed to do in a quarter of the time!

Craig was always quick to respond to questions and took the time to explain all aspects of the mortgage process, which was extremely valuable as a first time home buyer. There were several times that I toured homes and needed to spin up offers that same day.
