I've been screwed over personally by Ed Martin not once but twice. My in laws got a vehicle thru them as well and 10 mins before ed martin was closed they remembered they hadn't made their payment. They called and arranged payment for Monday morning. Sunday after 1 am they came and towed the car... the tow company drug the vehicle 2 city blocks before loading the car. Don't do business with Ed Martin auto world period.

I’ve bought numerous cars from here but when I went to a different dealership they told me the car I owned had frame damage. They gave me a Carfax report saying “No damage reported’ from Ed Martin. The report was from Autocheck. EM said that’s why we didn’t have the report it was Autocheck. It’s a scam. They have both. If it isn’t reported to one they use that report. Lot of bad reports from this dealership. Go elsewhere

      Response from the owner

Bought a 2013 Dodge Dart in 2015, with very low miles had it less then a year, it had under 36k, engine light came on 2weeks after being in their shop, was told it was a oil filter light to bring it back in on the following Monday. This car had been in the shop 3 days after I purchased it for a cracked aluminum rim and three more times until this experience. On the Saturday when the engine light came on in June of 2016 I immediately took it in, I stopped by Autozone to have codes ran to confirm oil filter issue. No one said not to drive the car, engine light went out and I drove it to Indy that night. Without warning the dash read transmission failure and burst into flames a few minutes later. Insurance is blaming Dodge and Ed Martin, Dodge is blaming Ed Martin. Guess what? Ed Martin is not responding now. It has been ridiculous and I'm out $15,000 cash.....I would be aware doing business with anyone whom can't stand behind the product they are selling. This car also had a 100k 10year powertrain warranty and an additional electrical component warranty...I would avoid Dodge Products too. Always check reviews.....I learned my lesson.

If I could give Ed Martin Auto Credit a -1. I left several messages for Mark Harrison to contact me back about my son’s stolen CPap machine and other items stolen by one of Ed Martins employees and no return message. The items stolen worth more then vehicle. But they will faithfully call you when a payment is due. There is no professionalism with this company. I would advise anyone trying to get a here to run. Not to mention the car is trash a long list of problems. Read the other reviews

I have always loved ed Martin, however.... the last month and a half has been nothing but horrible for me! I totaled one of my suv’s I got from here and my insurance paid them $6,420 I owed 8,000 on it.... I’ve had this suv for over a year my payments being $105 a week! I also have another suv from here. I always make my payments! Since the wreck I have only made my other car payment and not the car payment of the suv that was totaled thinking that I would be able to make some kind of Arrangement to pay off what was left after my insurance paid them. I got told today by Melissa that I would be sued and would have a repo on my record if I didn’t pay them $105 a week until it’s paid off!!! I have two children and needed a new suv and they did nothing to help me get one so I took my Business else where. They told me I couldn’t get bank financed with a 603 Credit score... I went to Tom Wood and got approved right away! I have always loved everyone at ed Martin but the second something like my wreck happened they switched their act! I’m hurt and now very stressed as to how I’m going to pay 3 car payments and be able buy the things my 2 children will need! My journey had so many problems....it wasn’t worth what they wanted.... my equinox I still pay on from them had way more problems.... I’ve had to pay for a new transmission and more! It’s almost paid off other than the work ed Martin did on it and once it’s paid off I will be glad to never speak with those people ever again! I have referred at least 4 people there and will never refer another person there again! My feelings are very hurt on how I’ve been treated after I’ve been a very good customer!

I can't wait until I'm done dealing with this so called business they don't stand behind their word they have no word and they have no clue on how to find a good mechinc next time I will let my dog work on it before I take my car back to them plus I bought a car and then had to get 3 thousand dollars put in it then threatened to take me to court if I didn't pay on it are you serious this is about the third time they said they were going to do something and have went back on it your best bet is not to buy a car from here plus it's 24.99% interest rate I would have rather went to oak motors and bought something that was dented up and scratched I bet cosmetic damage would have cost me less please don't get sucked into their crap go somewhere else no stars if I could have I think they are deleting their reviews

I have had my car for 4 months and have not had an issue. Payment isn't too high for being a buy here pay here. Only problem I've had with the car is a manufacturers issue. Would refer anyone here.
