I have a loan through del one and chose them because they had a great rate. I opened an account to have auto deduct, but other than the good rate it's been a frustrating experience. There was confusion between the departments handing the loan and the branch. Appointments on two different days, and lack of communication about what was needed when we got to the branch. Once everything was signed and opened, I thought things would be fine. But now they have "updated" online banking and after over half a month, it doesn't work at all. I tried to go to the ATM to do a deposit after hours and they were all down with separate issues (one said not in service, one had no option for deposit, the other rejected my deposit three times). So the app doesn't work to and all 3 ATM aren't working. There were a few other customers who couldn't use the ATMs to deposit either. And if this was a known issue, I wish there had been a sign so I didn't waste my time trying each ATM thinking I'd get lucky. I'm glad that I kept my primary bank account elsewhere and didn't switch everything over and only have to deal with the loan.

Worst bank I have overall. There’s like 2 people there that are nice, helpful and will informative. The app ALWAYS has issues. Everything requires an appointment. 1 drive thru lane available most of the time.

      Response from the owner

Hi Tiffany. I am sorry to hear you've had bad experiences and would like to be able to discuss the issues. Would you please send an email to [email protected] so we can reach out? We are converting to a new and improved online banking and mobile application at the end of April which should greatly improve your experiences. And an appointment is recommended for member service transactions but teller transactions do not require an appointment and you can go inside the branch for those. Please send an email with your contact information so we can assist you. We appreciate your feedback and your membership!

This bank use to be my favorite...but when they made changes it went down hill . Leave a call back takes forever...use to call anytime and someone would always answer. The only thing that hasn't changed .....the people are nice and helpful....if you ever get hold of them .

      Response from the owner

If you like having money but not getting to have access to it this is the bank for you. My checks never clear when they say they will its always longer. Customer service is basically nonexistent and you are at their mercy for every transaction. Do yourself a favor and go to litteraly any other bank

The worst bank ever. Drive thru takes forever. 25 mins of waiting and being the 3rd car in line.

I feel bad posting such a negative review, but I am going to try to remain objective with my reasoning. My coworkers recommended Del-One to me, and my wife and I had already discussed switching over from a commercial bank to a credit union. 1. I set up my account on September 10th, although this took about 5 tries using the app since it continued to crash. The app crashes on me seemingly every other try even though we have excellent WiFi and I also have a new Android model phone. I funded the account with my debit card from my other commercial bank account, and Del-One confirmed on the application screen that it had gone through. 2. After a few days, I saw that our account had not yet been funded, even though I did so on intially making the account and attempted to call customer service 3 days in a row. Not once did I get a live person and only 2 times did I get a call back. 3. At this point, after about a week, we went in-person to the Milford branch to straighten things out and obtain debit cards and checks. The woman there (don't know her name, but she had grey hair and was one of the tellers) was extremely unhelpful and not a little bit rude (yes, I know this part is subjective). She told me that I was the only name on the account and that it had not been funded. I told her that it was funded online and that my wife was also a name I had already put into the account as a joint account holder. After not believing me and going back and forth, her co-worker came over and confirmed that the account was funded and that my wife's name was on the account. I then asked for a debit card for both of our checking accounts and she told me that "if you really want to I will, but why would you need a debit card for both?" And this whole time my wife is out in the car with our 3 kids trying to nurse our newborn and soothe him while this woman is causing unnecessary delays because of incompetence. 4. Fast forward to this past Monday, and still no funds. My wife calls, and of course no answer, calls again on Wednesday and still no answer, but at least we get a call back. They tell my wife that she is not authorized to make changes to the account because she does not have her driver's licenses scanned in (which the teller did for us at the bank!) and I had originally done online when I signed up. She said my wife would have to go in-person to have her driver's license scanned again so that she could be identified as a joint account holder. The woman also said we had 30 days to fund the accounts and to call back on Friday (today) if it has not gone through and not to worry- this happens. 5. I look on the app today and all of our accounts are closed! What the heck! My wife calls and of course, no answer. We finally get a call back and the woman tells us that the accounts were closed because they weren't funded. You can't make this up. Oh and magically my wife's driver's license showed up and she is now an authorized account holder. How did that happen all of a sudden? She then tells us to go the branch in-person so that we can straighten it out. Meanwhile, we were there an hour and a half last time in-person just trying to get the cards set up and the account finalized. This woman treated us like idiots and could not believe that we had actually funded the account. She kept telling us that we must never have funded it. We are now waiting for the Milford branch manager to call us back. What a terrible experience. I thought credit unions were the beacon of customer service; there to support their members. This experience makes large, for-profit commercial banks look like absolute angels. Not sure if this is just the Milford branch or a general problem at Del-One. I would think maybe it was just the specific branch aside from the condescending treatment we received by phone. *Edit: Shari, the Milford Branch Manager, reached out to us after 1 business day and was extremely helpful and competent. She is the reason we're giving Del-One another chance.

Been with them since they opened their doors in Milford. Not one issue since I've been there, actually they've contacted me when out of state making purchases. Can't thank them enough for the years of service.
