Crescent Credit Union Reviews

T N L1I deposited a mobile check and I received an email stating "Reason: All check images presented for deposit through mobile deposit must include endorsement by the payee(s) AND the following restriction on the back of the image, “For mobile deposit only at Crescent Credit Union”. Please amend endorsement and resubmit for deposit. Thank you for partnering with Crescent Credit Union for your financial needs." This email was from Bridgett Hankins. I promptly responded saying I had just deposited another check on 3/27/2020 that did not say this and it went through with no issue. I then told her she needs to deposit the check because I already ripped it up, (because I deposited it and have deposited others with no issue and they always go through) I also told her I could send copies of previous checks that have gone through with no problem. I told her I would not be able to get a new check any time soon and how much of an inconvenience this is to me. Then she did not answer my email, so I called the bank and got no answer. I called BACK and then someone answered and said they would have to have her call me. Instead of calling, she emailed (they have horrible customer service, so I was not THAT surprised but because right now we're in a state of emergency and people are literally down to their last $$, I figured a phone call would be the ethical thing--but again, their customer service is trash and always has been). This was her response to me telling her the check was 3/27/2020 went through: Hi T---, I can’t tell you why the mobile deposit on 3/27/20 went through without the endorsement. It is the policy for mobile deposits to have that restrictive endorsement. I do apologize for any inconvenience you are having. Once we reject a payment, I am unable to retrieve it back for processing. Can you redeposit through mobile deposit with the endorsement and I will process for today? Bridgett She sent this at 4:56. They close at 5. Today is Friday and they're closed, but Monday morning first thing, I will be leaving this bank. The customer service is so bad already. I just cannot take it. Do not play with my hard earned money, especially if you don't have a valid explanation.
