I’ve been a member for over 7 years and I’ve never had an issue with the credit union as a whole but this particular branch seems to give me issues when it comes to check cashing, deposits and/or withdrawals..also some of the tellers have unprofessional attitudes and demeanors. I’ve deposited larger amount into my account and I understand having to wait 2 weeks for 10k or more..but 7 business days for government checks for less than $1-2k? Today we attempted to cash a insurance check for a small amount and we were told we’d have to deposit it and wait 7 business days. I refused this time and visited the branch in Greenville and we have only 2 business days on the check (This makes more sense to me). Obviously, it is to the discretion of the teller? I don’t know but I won’t visit here again unless it’s to use the ATM..which is always out of order.

      Response from the owner

Good afternoon, Ms. Quarles. I apologize for your overall experience. Yes, it is at the teller’s discretion and our policy on insurance checks is a seven-day hold. However, as you stated, with your history here at the Credit Union the two-day hold is certainly more appropriate. We appreciate your feedback and certainly your membership. Andrew A. I usually don't post bad reviews but I feel like this one was needed. On Monday, April 19,2021 my mother decided to go pay her loan bill at this CPM because it's up the street from our home. I was on the phone with her while this happened. Anyways, she went through the drive thru to pay her bill and after the gentlemen took the money through the window her informed her that they no longer took payments through the window effective that day. She didn't understand because he took the money and then wanted to inform her of policy change. She was annoyed because he told her after the fact. She went in branch told the lady aft the counter what she came in for and gave her the information she usually give them. The lady ask her more questions and she told her that she usually doesn't get asked that many questions. The lady tells her it policy. My mom was very respectful to the woman, not once did she call her out her name or raise her voice. The lady proceeds to argue with my mom, my mom ask to speak to the branch manager her exact words were "you can talk to me." I've worked in customer service myself and they've always told me if a customer ask to speak to a manger let them. Another lady chimes in telling her she was going to inform corporate, I guess threatening to ban her. No one would give her the corporate number so she called the main Greenville branch. Explained what happened to another gentlemen. She received a call from the branch manager in Simpsonville telling her that she came in with an attitude and basically she wasn't allowed to come back to the branch. My only question for the branch manager is how can you tell someone has an attitude under a mask? And, what was your purpose of calling my mother to basically not apologize for YOUR employees actions? I will be closing my account with this bank. Thanks for coming to my ted talk. and yes she is a black women.

WORST BANK EVER...No reason to bank here when there are plenty of other modern banking options, with locations everywhere, APPS that actually work, cards that don't fail you constantly, and the ridiculously stringent Home, Auto, and Personal loan process that turns them from a Union(which they used to be) to a completely useless organization. I have personally experienced difficulties merely pulling my own money out of the bank. The management is rude and careless. I am closing my account as soon as possible. Horrible Bank. :-)

      Response from the owner

Recently, I found myself looking for a deal on a new car and everyone knows that current situation.. This past Saturday afternoon, I found the mid-life crisis car I was looking for. I immediately drove to see the vehicle and needed pre-approval to purchase. I filled out the application and then contacted Trisch who I met at the 5k CPM kindly participated in at ZF transmission. Trisch helped me out in the middle of a Saturday. She consulted me on my options between lending through the dealership vs the credit union and talked through all my questions. I feel this kind of weekend assistance deserves public recognition. CPM is lucky to have an exemplary employee!

Employees and staff are great, always polite and helpful at this branch and on the phone at customer service. Held a star because of the 9 am start time and had a few issues with online banking that were never able to be resolved after multiple lengthy attempts.

      Response from the owner

You pull in no customers you think hey this will be quick. You walk in and three people in the office area on social time. So you go register to see some one and turn around to see two people have retreated to another office to continue. The one person is now on the phone faking like she is supper busy. You sit and wait, and wait, and wait, and wait for now 15 min. then you realize whats really going on. So you walk out.

      Response from the owner
