  I have had a terrible time with this company. My loan was bought by Mr. Cooper in 1/2021. Instead of paying all my property taxes, Cornerstone only sent 1/2 of it-probably because they knew the loan was moving.. So in January of 2021, I was delinquent for my property taxes. Mr. Cooper paid all of it for me as county tax office said they got nothing from Cornerstone, The online chat pple are incredibly inept, Told me several times they were escalating it. Turns out Cornerstone put the incorrect information on the check so it went towards the previous owner and now the county office cannot move it. I had to call the actual mortg person to try to get them to fix their mistake. Radio silence now they know it was fault. I am out that money thanks to Cornerstone.

  Al Dada and his staff at DNJ were excellent to work with on our refinance. I know how much the mortgage business has changed in recent years and even though they have more to do on their end now, his team made it a painless process from the customer side. I would highly recommend Al and DNJ!

  Al Dada and Gateway Bank Mortgage are amazing. We first started with Quicken Loans and kept getting the runaround. Al Dada was able to get my VA loan approved, inspected and closed in 3 weeks. Our interest rate is lower than Quicken and he was able to get our earnest deposit back. Whenever we had a question, he was easily accessible even on Sunday. First class service! I highly recommend Gateway Bank Mortgage and Al Dada if you are considering a VA loan.

  I have to tell you, Heather at gateway was the best part of the transaction of buying a house. She helped me learn about different kind of mortgages, explained every step of the way, and when she didn't know an answer she would ask her managers. She wasn't afraid to ask questions to help me better understand everything, as I am a first time buyer. Heather even texted me in her free time to make sure I was okay after the massive hurricane AFTER I had already finalized my mortgage with her. She truly is a class act, and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. She is a great employee, an asset on your team and a great person. As a sales manager at a car dealership, it's hard to find employees as wonderful and helpful as Heather. Without her, I wouldn't be a homeowner.

  DNJ was able to make my tight close date, got me the most competitive rates of anyone around. Prompt email responses. Affordable. Dedicated ample time helping me as a first time homeowner understand everything no matter how many time we had to go over things. Fantastic team! A+++ Would highly recommend!   Daniel & his team were real great to work with.   Chris and Shari at DNJ handled our mortgage in such a way as I felt they were personally invested in our best financial options and in a hassle-free closing. Both are very personable; and the ease with which they speak in their area of expertise indicates exactly that - expertise.   Matt Valentine really pulled through in a sticky situation not of his making resulting in a delayed refinance closing. He had everything back on track and closed the next day and had everything worked out just the way we originally planned. Matt and team went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and taken care of.

  I have worked with Dan before when we bought our first home when we moved to North Carolina from New York. He has always been top notch and will work with you and make sure you get the best deal possible. Makes it easy and is upfront always about the road ahead and the process.
